Just watch the episodes Infi and not let it affect you too much. Avi nominating him aside. He understands the game better than is shown. I am not exaggerating and this is only my point-of-view.

Yesterday when A was asking him about nominating K, Vivian gave the reason that she participates less in the game. When Vivian was questioned further and he was replying but it cut away to others. Note, after the fight Vivian was shown talking K so he had formed an opinion of her.

I think he realises that K will always be on D's side and so he had two good reasons to nominate her. We can not understand why he is so patient but I think he is playing the game his own way.
