Why these days, only movies with vulgar undertone, racy item numbers or toxic heroes are doing better in box office? Why a hero doing physical violence on wife or girlfriend earns cores in box office? Why Lapatta Ladies does terrible business in theatres ( Netflix is not the point) but Pushpa 2 or Animal does wonders? Why gone are the days when Smriti Irani or Shakshi Tanwar's portrayal of strong women on TV? Why these women are replaced by women clad in less clothes in pretext of mythology or superstition or they wash laptops and act coy?
Now coming to the point......
Why a women being cheap to a cheap man is called a bit** and not a fighter/ HERO? Why a man not disrespecting a women or not making mother/sister references or vulgar innuendos is considered "assistants"? Why a man full of toxicism is worshipped? Why a man whose career depends on taking sympathy on being dumped by a women is game show is considered a warrior and not a looser? Why a man being divorced twice and in both cases the women taking the initiative is considered a victim without any acceptance what a women in this case two women must go through to take the decision in a patriarchal country like India?
And why a women herself is not an ally of women & disrespects them? An women choreographer who got her break because of another famous female choreographer got sick & sly ly replaced her went on to make films depicting strong heroes & weaker heroines. Once getting flops after flops starts to get big actresses do items numbers to sell tickets, comes on to a show to step in for Salman Khan ( who is Dabangg Reloaded show in Dubai is dancing for 2 mins but getting all the money out of producing a show full of scantily clad women doing items numbers like Disha/ Jaqueline/ Tamanna) and highlights a toxic man and points fingers at another women? I am not saying that Eisha is perfect but I don't mind a bi*** in a fight of dogs! Give me a strong catty women any day over a submissive women who fulfills male fantasies.
Sorry if you find this post offensive. But I love my country so detoriating culture bothers me!
