In the OST scenes, she is constantly trying to leave and he is stopping her so maybe by then mehru takes a stand for herself and decides she doesn't want to be with him anymore

I so want this to happen. I mean if Zain gets out, Mehru definitely will want out.

That's what her mom will ultimately do I guess, that's why they are showing her doubting things arent right with mehru...and she will do it to make things right for mehru

If there are divorce talks, I want it to be from Mehru' side not from Shahno' side. That's already been done.
