Should I go watch initial episodes?

Shahnawaz is being a total jerk with his behavior and two timing. He roughly pushes her on the bed and has a second of concern and then pushes her yet again. Then he locks her?? These cannot be easily overlooked going forward. What the hell is the writer thinking

Girl needs to start working. She can easily use “party ki image” card and convince her mother in law to let her work. Once she is out of the house, mingling with men, earning, exercising independence, then the story can move forward with fire. This shahnawaz needs to be humbled. Writer needs to throw in a jealousy angle and utter indifference from Mehru. I need to watch him burn loll

To know where they are coming from you would need to know their story before marriage!

And Mehru before marriage was very bold & entertaining! She used to roast Shahnawaz & his arrognce everytime they met!

You got to watch the episodes before the wedding, they are pretty entertaining and as LifeofWhy states it , where they come from and how they got here.

Shahnawaz is a horrible person, if he can treat Mehru, the woman he claims he has sachi Mohabbat like this or Amal, someone he grew up with with such callousness, he is not a good guy. He hasn't flipped character just because he fell in love. Just that, we all loved watching him romance Mehru that we forgot he is a cold-blooded politician.

It was good to see Shah get a scolding from his uncle. Too bad that Amal is in some sort of depressed cuckoo land that she has no sense or reason. So her parents are helpless even though they are well aware that Amal and Shah interacting will only harm her later. Shah just wants to use Amal for his own gain and has no real care for her. He is essentially making her to be a third wheel and according to society, it will scar her and her chances for starting again elsewhere.

That’s the thing. Nobody is watching for the writing. We know the limitations and this is just a fun and mindless show. But some things that happened have ruined even that. It’s hard to get over. If lack of logic was the problem I don’t mind. It’s not a sensible show anyway. But khullam khulla cheating on two women and then manhandling the wife is where I draw the line. This wasn’t on the cards and shouldn’t have been. It makes me not care about their scenes now.

You’re right Mehru can use the party card and her leverage SO MUCH right now but she’s not doing anything. Literally nothing. Just sits around all day moping and waiting for him. So both characters aren’t making any sense. Where’s that strong headed principled girl who wanted to fix their thinking?

Every time I come to write about this ep.. Shahnawaz manhandling Mehru scene comes in front of my eyes and I just feel off.

A part from that I liked Saman's scenes. She is playing Cupid for the newly wedded couple. If she knows that for winning the elections she may lose her son's support. Coz once he realizes how deep his feelings for Mehru are he'll won't stay the same.

Remember when we all saw ASR do that and called it romantic cause we were batsh*t crazy at that time... even SSO manhandled the f outta anika ...
