They are trying to prove a Maths formula by writing theories. Aisa thodi na hota hai.

Fyi zpkb is a joined production and not entirely produced by momal or momina. Its mostly promoted by kasf foundation than momina. Kasf foundation is the one who conducted the press meet and all.

In India, I think trp is the ultimate decider. But for PTV, it seems YouTube views also contribute a lot.

I'm a Sajal Aly fan , so I will talk about her dramas. ZPKB used to top the trp chart of its slot and also used to get good reviews but it's views were moderate. Is it a flop show?

Kuch Ankahi also used to have highest trp of its slot. Initially reviewers had a problem with so many subplots but later they also accepted that except 2, all other plots were good. But again YT views wise it was not good. So it was flop too?

P.S. - I'm not saying they are cult hits (they are definitely not).

Contradictory to what fans believe yt don't pay you that much. If it did why do you think every other country except Pakistan, either have their own streaming platforms or give rights to international platforms like Netflix and prime? Nowadays even bwood don't hype up just the yt views for their trailers or songs. It's always combined views from other platforms and at times insta reels have more views than yt.

Youtube earnings are a real thing. Influencers earn a lot from it. These days getting good YouTube views is a bonus for PTV channels. TRPs will always be bigger though.

You can earn from youtube but it's also about control and maximizing revenue. On YouTube, a significant portion of your earnings goes to the platform itself. But having your own streaming platform, you retain full ownership of your revenue. Additionally, you also can earn more through subscription-based services, which can provide a steady and potentially higher income over time. Though Netflix and prime though give you more cash compared to YouTube. If pakistani drama will also go to subscription then they will loose audience so most probably they will not approach subscription based method. Atleast I will not pay to watch pakistani dramas.

haan par views bhi high hone chahiye, 5-6 million views are just a bonus for an episode; to match TV revenue, 15m+ views are needed.

Yes. Shows with low TRPs need high YouTube viewership to compensate. Shows already having good TRPs consider YouTube views as a bonus only whether they are below or above 5M.

I don't understand the criticism to ZPKB regarding Meenu falling in love

The only criticism I will have for ZPKB is that , they brought Nofil little late in the KesarKala and at the end the illogical fake exploitation charge

Meenu was flawless acc to me ,closest to reality

It means my guess was right that its manhoos Kaddu who is mastermind behind trp ban.

This haseeb dude is acting like Rakhi sawant from past 1 year. Bhai Ap ky show ko galiyan par rahi hy by Pakistani audience. No sensible person liking your master piece even you are the reason actors are getting hate.

And what's this new trend of flaunting YouTube views as only benchmark of a successful show . A successfu show needs public admiration which comes from high trp. Not only views. Even Chahat fateh Ali Khan videos getting million views that doesn't mean he is best singer. Someone tell him his local audience rejected his master piece so be humble and reconsider your mistskes.

My respect for Siraj and Badar increased after seeing this attention seeker director. No wonders his direction is so bad in his current drama as his all focus was on clout chasing.
