You know Abheera forcing Abhir to come back to Goenkas is like her asking Ruhi to be matashree to her kid.
Abhir and Ruhi really bore the burnt of Akshara and Fossil couple’s actions. Both lived their childhood in trauma without parents due to them. I don’t know how Abhir lived after surviving the land slide but surely it must have been tough.
Fossil couple literally kicked out Ak knowing full well she is pregnant and never looked back. They could have asked her to go live somewhere else to safeguard Ruhi’s mental well being but cutting off ties like that was brutal, and Abhir saw all that, so definitely his resentment towards Goenkas isn’t misplaced.
Abheera even though wasn’t aware of her extended family, probably lived in poverty, but she didn’t have any such huge traumas to deal with in childhood. Thankfully Ak gave her kaands a break until she married her daughter off to a random student of hers, so Abheera probably had a happish childhood. So she doesn’t understand even a bit what Ruhi and Abhir went through before forcing them to accept her vision of “hum saath saath hai” wali badi family. She really needs to give others some space to grieve their losses and process their emotions rather than trying to show her mahanta.
