I do believe instagram followers matters. But here he is not talking about Shraddha but influencers who get roles based on their followers.

It's unfortunate that those interviews come out during Stree 2 as there could be hidden agendas...

As for Shraddha: the amount of followers also may be a sign of sympathy and/or 'the flavour of the month'.

It's not like Shraddha is the best actress of all-time or even a great celeb.

I watched only 2 movies of hers in the 10+ years she is in acting and she was horrible.

Makes Miss Rai look like a legend. Sad.

No, she "is" not... y o u found her "painful to watch" and "stiff" and that "she can't emote"...that's y o u r impression but not the one of the 'general' audience as both the movies had been quite successful at the boxoffice.

The general audience in India is biased at large. If they liked Katrina Kaif, then they will love Shraddha. I am the type of person who likes "real" acting. I love Kareena and her performance in The Buckingham Murders. Or Madhuri in Devdas or even Sridevi in Gumraah. I like performance oriented movies. Shraddha bores me to death and that is why I will never watch another movie of hers again. I am done with her.

T h a t is something I can fully accept and would not even discuss. Everybody has a right to the own perception. I also have my preferences and I'm not one who would watch a movie because of Shraddha, but I would not skip it because of her if I've an interest to watch it .
