Rajat didn't have calculation.He was doing some senseless mathematics but nothing worked accordingly.

He should have targetted in a way only four are nominated but instead even his so called friends got nominated.He could have kept others under his wings and played smart

Towards end he wanted to make sure Sara is safe but it was pure luck that she is not nominated
