I'm not going to find time in watching KKB even if I can find those early episodes.1 Itv show is alright for me. I also prefer to deal with shows more current. I'm happy to learn from everyone else knowledge of KKB. Thank you for 1st para.
Amu character- is interesting. In a way she is doing same for virat like father. Amu put her career & marriage with Shubh away to help father. Now she does it with Virat- except its more complicated now. When Ishika entered the relationship with Amu father stopped. With Virat, Ex entered & Babita exposed she does not leave virat but attaches herself to his family making it more complicated. Im sorry to say just like Babita character it clear Amu character is also flat line or stagnant to be more kind.
Virat & Babita points- agree & understand your points. Theres nothing to add in a sad I've given up way... 1 thought just ocurred. babita & Ex & Rajvir have grown to actual criminals. Babita character in her efforts to get rid of worsened... to the point theres no doubt. She dont care about her children but her Image & Self ambitions- All her family must just align
Best growth seen is from Bhavani & nimmi as characters- We can attribute this to Amu but no growth as what she did for Bhavani was done for Nimmi. Dragging exposure & not dealing with Babita response & trust have ruined both V A... who cares as long as Babita is shown the same. Creators wont hear any different.

One of my main issues with the show is the lead characters and their character arcs. Can add Babita to it too.
I just looked at what the parallel 349th ep was in kkb - its the one where Pragya leaves Abhi's house and comes to her home... leaving the relationship despite them loving eo because Tanu falsely claims and convinced everyone that she is pregnant with Abhi's kid. By this time I as an audience am sold... AbhiGya have been through a journey - disgusting many times but loveable many times too. Abhi has grown from a spoilt brat to a loveable guy, has been through his redemption arc along with it. There have been loads of fall and holds, eye locks, banters, confrontations, and also the disgusting parallel of the mela eps in the form of mms track. The characters have 'grown' over the past 349 eps and they look like two 'mature' individuals dealing with their life circumstances, doing what is, to the best of their knowledge, the right thing to do. We can agree on their decisions or disagree.
Coming back to Kmtmg... Has Virat grown as a person? Only thing I see is he has sobered up compared to how he was in the initial eps. But I feel he has miles to go before I can consider him 'mature'. I doubt he can even function without Amruta being around him. His actions are many times questionable, even if it be better than before.
Has Amruta grown as a character? To me she has shown negative growth - from someone who wont mind calling a spade a spade to someone who looks at a spade and claims it to be diamond. But yeah... except for her hangover around Virat (which unfortunately is most of the time these days) she is still much more mature and capable than him.
Of course, we have the parallel chem scenes... but resting on a questionable relationship. They can make love, they can have babies, even fight over whether it should be a son or a daughter.... no issues... But is this the way they want it to be? Does that beginning they had a good enough and strong base to hold their relationship and others related to it, including new ones that can come up?
Babita - despite everything she has been the flat line... and a flat line when it comes to stories and heart... is a dead character. Its becomes a wall, an obstacle that the protagonists have to jump over and unfortunately our protagonists have shown no intent to do so yet. May be they will on the last day of the show.
ML being an idiot is fine... but only to begin with. He has to grow. Unfortunately... that looks like a loong journey for our guy... unlike the above mentioned phase in kkb. Pragya grew too... but Ammu... sorry.
