I hope after this she won't say Arzhi is a modern woman who doesn't need a man, and inspiration to 10 year old girls.

In recent BTS scenes and cast and crew friendly videos, in 300 episode party also they were ignoring each other. I felt more from Krushal's side that he was ignoring Chandini. Now this unfollowing also happened. Something happened between these two in personal front I think.

jhanak should support him, whatever didi will do with him. Injustice ha anni ke saath.
Trust ke lackness to dono side se ha let see jhanak ka kea reaction hota ha.
why should J support Ani.
1. She considers them married and Ani has volunteerily kept Arshi in his house
2. She does not want to break their house. She wants him happy with Arshi.
3. Arshi will say both were intoxicated and Ani took advantage of her. How can an intoxicated Ani claim he did not do anything. They are both accepting their marriage and if Ani is not in his senses how can claim Arshi raped him? Even if he does after what Ani did with J and forgot everything he did why should J even trust him?
4. J should stick to her commitment and let Ani Arshi carry on with their baccha.
I hope past meinn Jo hua use bhool kar j Anni ko support kare. Because this time he will be victim.
Leenaji kuch normal show kareygy?
Ani ne 2 dafa Jhanak ko mistrust kara already.....Leenaji is cruel...
Hmmm Priya I don’t think it is the writer’s laziness…did I say laziness? I usually call this lack of integrity … Ofc commerce also plays a role but a writer must have basic integrity to the story. If it’s a love story, the endgame and path must be largely laid out and deviations while understandable but it must not be at the cost of the core. That’s integrity in my books… it’s also recognising that one can’t stretch a simple premise beyond a point. Here, I agree with you that Leena uses Ani’s character to achieve that but if you note she also does the same with J’s character but the difference is Ani is made to regress and J shows minimal progress..It hits us differently coz we are a more egalitarian audience set which is discerning but Leena is betting on the larger trp audience which she feels will find it easier to accept men are fickle and women sacrificing. It’s a patriarchal entrenching she is resorting to maintain equilibrium and longevit but she is playing a dicey game imv… I will try to explain this…
I understand that the medium has its constraints where showing the quick resolution of conflicts will mean the end of the story in many ways and in a pure love story that is indeed a challenge. Which is why the basic premise of Ani’s conflict in love was a long drawn feature but somehow it worked ( at least for me) that a man could keep fighting his feelings and remain in a conflicted state when committed to a relationship. It’s not about whether such a distinction ( zimmedari vs love) is possible in mind but the story transitioned beautifully making me believe that zimmedari turned to love after a kashmakash ( I find English equivalent underwhelming to describe this phase) 😂 Similarly,Jhanak’s running away might irritate but the backstory, her peculiar traits, her duality worked for me when their love story was being built. I could accept that she will resist more than Ani even if the two will gravitate towards each other.
HOWEVER
It’s time to move the action and for that Leena needed to establish the conflict clearly in which department she has been very weak and noncommittal; it’s like the audience has to decide the roadblock in the story. It isn’t enough to keep throwing Ani and Jhanak under the bus, making one vacillating and another a runaway Arshi is in that montage but Leena never worked on that character to make her relevant to explain why these two idiots must be so deferential…or rather she made Arshi an odd character who is by turns stupid and by turns manipulative. I never can understand in the narrative the odd pressure for keeping Arshi relevant without emphasis…it’s like I have to accept it cos they are saying it 😂😂😂. Ani was shown having an epiphany after the HA where he goes to the extent of saying he will part with her and take legal steps if necessary… What is the legality of this union no one is clear… then they made Ani capitulate to ask her to stay back… Why? Expediency… cos the writer doesn’t have the courage to all out state that this is a situation where Arshi is already installed as a wife ( it’s like Leena saying maaf kardo main shadi ka rasm dikhana bhul gayee) My point is Ani’s situation will be more amenable to me as an audience if I can sense that Arshi is installed as a wife ( galti se hi sahi) coz I can appreciate that getting out of a problem isn’t as easy as a non committed bond cos there is a price to pay at least in the legal terms. Then at least it is possible to understand why Ani ki majboori but as of now he is made to look like an idiot.
By simply saying she is a “wife” will not make her a wife… and the audience isn’t going to react to this well; this is not her regional audience that may not have an issue about a man living a dual life. The Hindi audience is an odd mix… they can watch endless senseless kitchen politics play out over two women fighting for a man ( man isn’t even in the picture 😂😂) but oddly they have clear demarcation on what constitutes wife’s Haq and who the other woman is… they don’t enjoy any vacillating on that.
My observation is the way other serials manage longevity is by adding the kitchen politics and senseless drama. AY made a very good point the other day about this serial being oddly irreverent about these things and in my view that’s a comforting thing about this serial. But it also means it has a shelf life too..I hope Leena has a view of this while she is busy mixing her content from various serials. You asked an interesting question about ends and means projecting on the story… I can’t claim to know Leena’s mind so difficult to say if she wants to make such a point but I have different perspective about this. I want to understand what’s exactly the thing Ani is considered guilty of by the writer? She has built the love story with such a solid basis making a lot of us including the trp audience invest in that love story…. If now she wants to say that such unions aren’t easy or whatever may be her perspective… I can only say she has no understanding of the concept of love itself. It is perspective that matters most in a story. I haven’t seen Leena build any perspective for Arshi so I am unable to empathise with her situation beyond the very basic that she was owed an explanation and a decent closure… I can’t install her in this story as Ani’s partner cos I never saw them as compatible ever. I don’t know if I have answered my question but that’s my twopence 😂😂😂
Sorry it turned out be a long rambling post 🤗 aadat se majboor.. something about this story that I find oddly fascinating 😂😂😂
love this...will respond when I get a break in travelling. Hiking in Patagonia and am thinking abt this trashy story and your take while hiking,...how lame am I? What is causing the addiction when the story is in shambles, just the solid start?

Enjoy your trek dear..the show is not worthy of your time taken for a break💓
We will most likely get Ani imagining J while impregnanting Arshi this week, brace up guys...this track will get trashier and tackier soon.
haan agar normal life guzaar rahay hotay to j ko interfere nahi kerna chahea tha but yahan arshi ke mistake ha so j ko support kerna chahea😌😃

Purely as a person reacting to a love story..I would say this… love isn’t transactional…
If there is an enduring message in any love story… it about the timelessness of love.
For me there were several moving moments in the story… but one I particularly want to highlight.
When Ani pleaded to Jhanak to tell him the truth at the wedding in Kashmir when she was being held captive by Tejas - he had once in the past asked her and she had lied but she takes the leap of faith. Jhanak liberates Ani by telling the truth… Two things I appreciated in that scene… Ani promising to honour her wishes - he wasn’t there to fight Tejas if she chose the fate willingly however broken he be…but he asks for liberation by truth. Jhanak who did all this for his safety knows at that moment liberating him from his pain of her betrayal is more important than anything else and she takes that leap of faith.
Unfortunate they couldn’t hold to the leaps of faith in love and have to get to the stage that viewers will debate who should or should not do what!!
To me, Jhanak standing by Ani is an important leap of faith… Then Jhanak was held captive, now Ani is held captive. The situation may not be comparable in like for like term but for me…I don’t see any justification in the story for Ani to suffer under false pretext. Love must be liberating at all times. If their love is based on compromise, which Arshi/Ani had signed up for what is the need for this deception?

The point of liberation will come if Ani, like the Kashmir Tejas marriage track asks for liberation..if he accepts it as his fate, then how will J save him! I am afraid he will not plead for liberation, instead make things further complicated by being manipulated by Arshi..
