Deepika Padukone makes me miss movies I want to watch

And I am being serious about the stuff I said in the title .

She is so overrated/overhyped/dull/lifeless and kind of stoic stone expressioned actress now.

She doesn't have any life or charisma in any of the movies she acted in. I have missed so many good movies because I can't tolerate her now.

There was a time when I liked watching her movies and even watched many like Lafangey Parindey and movies around these times.

But after Chennai Express, she just fell off. Anyways by rule I don't watch SRK movies. But I made an exception for Deepika in this movie. After I watched I made it a point to not watch any of her movies. I can even make a list of movies I haven't watched because Deepika is there. Her husband who was one of my favs since Band Baaja Baarat is also acting a lot with a her so I miss his movies too. The only exception to this rule is 83 which is on my first and foremost love Cricket.

This was on screen stuff. And then off screen stupid drama started. That my choice campaign, the JNU dramatics which was an absolute PR disaster of epic proportions. I don't know why these Bollywood people think revolution is a great idea and doing such stuff will work. If you really want a change then get dirty and be an active politician like so many other actors who don't run away from it. This JNU incident made me absolutely hate her.

And the worst part and cherry on the cake is we share the same Birthday.

Imagine your happy day birthday and you get see everyone celebrating and trending about the actress you hate and don't even want to her face.

I wish she retires like some of her contemporaries or does movies only with SRK/Aamir and Co so that I don't have to watch. Never with my favs.

Bajirao Mastani

Padmavat : 2nd Shahid movie I missed after Haider because of her. I have only watched that Jauhat scene because it keeps coming on SM. Even that was so lifeless. Infact I want to give an example of Pooja Sharma, The actress who played Draupadi In Star Plus Mahabharat. She would have nailed the pain and the emotions of the scene. Deepika was just Dull.

Fighter : I watched this but she destroyed this movie experience for me.

Kalki : Loved the concept in trailer and really wanted to watch but it so stupid that she is there and I will have to miss.

Singham Again. I really want to watch this because of multiple reasons. Still contemplating and if I miss it will be because of her.

Honestly? You didn't miss much.

Bajirao Mastani: Priyanka was the best part of that film.

Padmavat: Didn't watch it, but have seen tons of clips and none of them have enticed me enough to give it a chance.

Fighter: This is my review of the film on Letterboxd.

Kalki: Didn't watch it cuz' it's just not my thing, but my parents said they liked it so idk.

Singham Again: Shakti Shetty is the same character Deepika plays in every comedy, just with an attempt at a Marathi accent this time. (I did like the movie though, but if Arjun Kapoor is one of the most compelling parts of your film, then can it even be considered a good film?)

I think Deepika is a distraction.

What forum members are trying to do is, block content on Kriti,Kiara and other younger stars who are signing multiple films.

But then no one ever needed this forum.The stars are doing very well on their own .I don't know a single fan(not seasonal fans) of these stars posting content on their idols here.

DP is too busy building her brand it seems. Least interested in the acting business as of now.

She can do brand work, endorsements, appearances in big films.

Everything but choose a decent script for her next work.

I get it she's in motherhood now.

Hope dua being born puts some sense into her head and she gets back better

Thanks. Pata to tha hi but you still want to watch it for other stars performances. Deepika stands out like Elaichi/Laung etc in a royal deluxe Veg Biryani. You want to remove her. Also Kahan the Legendary Priyanka Chopra, Kahan Deepika Padukone. It's like Comparing Virat Kohli with Babar Azam.

Also Lol about the Fighter movie. They did have great chemistry in WAR. I love watching HR movies. Even Anil Kapoor and for that matter Sanjeeja even in a blink and miss scene looked better than Deepika. HR Aisa ek star hai jo I can watch and never disappoints. Dekha jaaye to I have watched most of the HR movies.

Kalki I like promise of involving and invoking our epics and creating a fictional movie on that. Like I watched other telegu ones too in hindi dubbed. Hanuman, kartikeya2. They know how to respect our epics and clearly state its fiction.

Singham LMAO. Arjun is the best part? Damn they destroyed such a great theme of epic fiction in modern era. Itna bada ensemble cast lekar aisa Bakwas.

One more thing I missed . She shouldn't have joined films. She was a very good badminton player in her youth owning to her superior genes. Could have used her height and got some medals for India in Badminton. We rarely had good players that time but she had the elite genetic advantage and the height combo. Wasted Career I would say.

And i dont know if I can even talk about the KWK stuff or not but that's another stinking wormhole. I feel bad for Ranveer.
