It's a kind review (thanks for posting about the movie).

I like this kind of movies as I think likewise about not giving up on achieving certain dreams...basically, I think that the way to the goal is the most important part of trying to realise a dream.

Not-so-kind review this time...

Interestingly - at the first read - I also thought of Uunchai.

To warn you beforehand: I've only nice things to write...

What a magical movie! What a gorgeous story! And emotions galore. A genuinely uplifting movie.

Humour and sadness, reality and magic ...and some twists which may never happen in real life but that is fine, it's a movie, a story told by a writer who loves each and every of the characters - even the nasty ones.

I wasn't bored for one moment as the pace fitted the narration. The main and the supporting characters a designed with understanding and love and each of them performes so well...they must have loved to do the movie.

It isn't about winning, it is about wanting to achieve something that almost seems to be impossible - against all odds. It is about the Universe giving a helping hand and a human support system that is vital to lift you up when you're on the ground.

There are potshots at the media and social media which are familiar ... also mentioned (and used) here in the forum...it is quite relatable.

I would like for the movie that many watch it - from all ages (okay, not the very young ones) and all walk of life.

The director (and writer) is Akshay Roy who also made the Ayushmann-Parineeti movie Meri Pyaari Bindu and worked as AD in Vanity Fair, Water, Namesake and Taare Zameen Par...I'm already curious about his next movie.
