You mean the divorce happened 9 months before the first day of show? Makes sense if it is so... but had thought it was much longer than that. [3 yrs back was when Ammu's proposal broke... had thought it was around the same time.]

If I understand you correctly. We complain about how underwhelming peaks of tracks are. What you have discussed is why. It has to be asked is it only the writing? Yes I agree the peaks of plots are unsatisfactory & reactions terrible. Why is nothing working or compensating for it I ask myself. Cant the film directing help. Yes the ideas of plot or script itself is flat and im sorry to say... why isn't the way actors improvise or change script working?

I ask this question with heavy mind. Has lack of creator vision for the show resulted in attitude from cast & crew as follows. Lets just get something out on time... whatever it is?

About the villains - I knew and had pointed it out back when it happened that what they did with Rajeev after the bank fraud thing sets a really bad precedent for the show. Yeah... kkb does that too - but not within the first 100-110 eps. kkb started going awry on this front only after say, 400 eps.. not 100. Someone caught 'red-handed' and not dealt with in the minimum possible way is a big let down.

So, am not at all surprised by whatever they do. They want to bring in big sounding plots... bomb in dahi handi, marrying while one is intoxicated, Someone about to blow up along with ravan... result... zilch... we move on with our lives seeking opportunities to steal chem moments.

Look at the reactions of characters esp from the kidnapping onwards (even the clip)... it seems like they are half zombies. Had mentioned before - if I imagine me being Virat and I see Ammu saving my sis from that fire... that isn't a 'passing incident'... I will be overwhelmed... most likely cry too - probably even wonder "God my wife is.... (???) ... who is this woman!!!!". and something about their reactions to the event hasn't satisfied me enough / closed the chapter for me, that I keep going back to that moment. pretty similar with clip and this bankruptcy thing but the fire one is the peak one cause of its 'heroic' nature. Thinking "kya ho tum Banker" is just not enough.

This is point im making. I Dont prefer either... I think you forced yourself to choose 1 virat but rightly hes not good enough. Reason for it as you mention many times about Mela & lack of redemption. We thought it will come after babita exposure but didn't. I would agree & prefer this virat if we could trust this version. We cant trust it due to no/ unsatisfactory redemption.

Its worse than disappointing for Sriti. She asked 1 of her of best friends to join show - Arjit. Yes he made decision by himself & but we know Sriti has a conscience. How does she feel that Arjit doing good at performance with a character having many writer errors & lack of vision. Arjit claims virat is his best character but is it true? its his current role so cant say truth ... Or does he say it still having faith in creators with some doubt

Even if I would prefer the current Virat over the version he was introduced with, I would still say he is not good enough for her. Its actually a let down for Ammu to be married to him - arguably as much as it is for Sriti to be working on this show. Virat as a character is just not good enough.

PS: I would even say I can be fine with the incidents they show... but the dialogues and interactions are quite lame. Have mentioned about a few since the time they moved in to Jahan's house. So even if the situations dont help them, the dialogues can make them appear sane.. and frustratingly even the dialogues are more like fillers passing/filling out time and episodes.

About the question: Its quite possible. Have mentioned something around a particular director wanting 'quality kam karo'... best one can do at such instances is just give the required product the way it is asked. In the actors case it would be give the best to this particular shot / scene and forget about the rest. I haven't yet seen signs of actors slacking off in the scenes. They are doing their best. Say, the scenes of Amruta v/s Rajeev is the Sriti I am most familiar with. These current scenes... yeah... she does what is required.

Along with writing (screenplay and dialogues) I can also add editing and direction... while I liked the jungle scenes, I've felt some scenes there lacked the urgency that is required - things taking a bit too long (say can be one second less for every shot). [One point, however, that I claim is even if things were the same, things can still be made to look sane or saner with appropriate dialogues.]

Oh yeah.. I dont prefer either, either. Its only because he is the "destined" guy that even I have to 'live with this really bad option'. Have complained about it in the initial months. Amruta's 'phooti hui kismat'... and along with hers ours too. And they haven't made efforts to show him or the Ahujas are good options.

Assuming Mukta shifted to signing lower cost, out of work and available, not so popular actors now for KMTMG, after spending lot on popular and expensive actors? (may be, she has to allot much more budgets to swing her new drama for colors, so reserving funds?)

btw Ravish joining as parallel lead, that too in KMTMG? how can we forget Angad was promoted by Zee/Zee5 SM handles initially, as if his character will bring in triangular love story, but it never happened.

What about a role seals the deal for you? Are you okay playing a secondary character?
I’m not okay playing a secondary character right now, especially on television. If it’s an ensemble drama on web or film, I’d love to do it because even the secondary characters are given screen space and importance. But in television, there are no parallel leads.

Back in the day, they used to have it. That’s how Mrunal [Thakur] and I started, and became popular because of Kumkum Bhagya. But things have changed now.
