Hi! Extremely sorry for my late reply...
Undoubtedly, Rajat here too has an unhealthy obsession for his separated child , who is completely brainwashed & utterly disrespectful....and Ghum should better show Rajat balancing out b/w both children, and not fixating most of the attention to one child at a time, & taking the other for granted. Neglecting one child's state, while you're focusing on another. It should be avoided as much as possible.
Exactly! Be it Rajat or the OG ML, up to a certain extent I gave them both some free pass because poor guys were separated from their respective children in a very harsh way. But there's a limit to everything. OG surpassed that. From the looks of it, Ghum is on its way too.

Hence, ensuring one child's welfare doesn't take a backseat for the other, by any means...It indeed would have gotten difficult to watch.....
For a change, we would not like history repeating & Sai going through more trauma, she had more than enough of it, at such a tender & impressionable age. Her childhood has been already affected. But the gloomy part is, GHUM won't make any such change, becz it gives them enough level of meat for ITV level drama
No matter, how much headache inducing plot is that.
Yeah.

Now that you reminded me, when Ruhi was separated from Ishita, I remember it broke our hearts. But the bloody makers did it anyway as you said - TRP. I really don't want to watch that again. Watching a kid suffer so much is simply unbearable.

Kiaan, toh anyways is very insufferable
, his words are so rash & pricking to the heart, very arrogant & bratty child.
Even he's toned down here. You should have seen Adi.

@purple- In the 1st season, it focused on ML's dilemma, becz it was promoted as ML Centric season, and after him, going by the lineage, it is the ML's child who would be taking the baton to lead, hence the show would be legacy child centric & here the legacy child is a girl. So, it would be FL centric & about FL's dilemma....but it's fine if they focus on both ML & FL's dilemma equally. Equal space to both, turn by turn.
Agreed.
Ahh!! if this would have to ever happen, then I too would prefer SAI taking the baton forward in S4, becz I also believe SAI should be enough for them, as it's high time ITV should get away with this obsession of APNA KHOON & BIOLOGICAL CHILD. Also, whole meaning & purpose they're trying to convey that "relations made from heart & pure love, affection & genuine attachment is no less than blood relation & sometimes even better than sham & emotionless blood relations" in S3 would be deemed null & void & whole S3 would look like a joke....S3 is trying to defy that "not always blood is thicker" & not all STEPMOTHERS are evil....So, it would be more wholesome if they keep SAI only as the Nextgen lead
it would send a good msg through their show
You just said what was in my mind.
I'd say, one of my most favorite scenes from the OG was, when the ML told the FL after a medical checkup that there were chances she could be a mother. But she tore the reports and said she was already a mother and she didn't need anymore.
Just imagine what a powerful message that was!

But then the makers went on against their own words and the countdown to destruction started...
I believe, Savi has always found her family in people who love her from the bottom of their hearts. Lately I'm coming across clips of the 2nd Season and it must have been wonderful how Isha stood by her from the very beginning.
As a child, she found her mother in Isha.
What could be more satisfying than doing the same for another child and truly pass on her legacy to someone who's connected to her through love!
