That is why I said it's a recurring theme in this show that Ani khud apni conclusions se palat jaata hai. Kabhi he was clear on Jhanak being maasoom and selfless but he still jumped to believing that she could burn someone simply cuz Jhanak was being mean to him? .....Kabhi he is clear on what Srishti/Arshi are and kabhi he is again shown brushing that aside and normalizing with them....lol

Makers will keep repeating this for drama from time to time no matter what level of realization Ani reaches....lol cuz they don't have any story other than forced flips.

Basically with this twist, they are proving Ani's family right ki woh bas aevein bol raha tha woh sab about not wanting to stay with Arshi cuz he was "beemaar" and out of his mind over losing Jhanak....now he is back to groveling in front of Arshi, toh this is "normal" Ani as per his family

Once he sees Jhanak is alive, he will flip again and his family will mock him again ki tum galat kar rahe ho, Jhanak ne vash mein kar liya hai blah blah.....lol

What I feel stupid about is this…

I fell for this tale cos I saw an attempt to move from the trope of a ritual binding two individuals.. I know people tune into serials with different sensibilities but I genuinely detected an attempt by the writer initially to veer away from the forced union to lay emphasis on the bond that developed thereafter ( irrespective of the harking back to the ritual marriage) So for me, those episodes where the two fought the attraction, tried and failed were glorious chapters of a moving love tale and while I knew the tale will hit a roadblock due to peculiar traits of the ML, ambiguity of FL’s posturing on the morality angle, still I felt with all the roadblocks and some stupid tracks they had got to a stage where the resolution for the tale was in view.

Girte padte… they were almost there… Ani had achieved clarity about J’s position in his life and more importantly he had rejected the influence of Arshi in his life… it was categorical not expedient… when he rejected his family’s premise. Yes, Jhanak was in a state of denial but still even then… I would have assumed that the next track was to focus on her arc to bring her some clarity.. while doing that, if they want to regress one character is really stupid and simply shows the writers don’t have any integrity towards their craft and it is pure commerce that is dictating the way.

Again… what is stupid is I so wish they hadn’t taken pains to serve a different fare in the start. There are umpteen serials with stupid themes but even they have some integrity towards the love story… here they have zero integrity towards the core part of their story!!

Arshi doesn't have feelings for Ani? LOL but every other epi she flips to claiming she still loves him.....Kya Ani ab tak nahin use ho raha tha Arshi se jo aage kuch change ho jaayega? lol Aaj tak use hi toh hota aaya hai given how she treats him like a dog to kick around.

Ani is in a dark space mentally right now so ofcourse uske saath kuch na kuch bura ho sakta hai....baaki Leena apni "creativity" dikhayegi in still showing Runak running after each other regardless....baby trap bhi nahin rokega yeh...and I guess Arshi already knows this cuz she told her mom ki baccha karne se bhi logon ke break-ups/EMA nahin rukte

Makers could have avoided many disgusting dialogues....but when have they ever shown the class to do that? lol they like people's reactions to degrading inconsistent dialogues so that's what they push.

You're talking about integrity...here makers switched the gears post Kashmir track ..it was served to us as a lovestory till Kashmir track...and then they completely switched the theme of the show and started incorporating unnecessary characters, lead character degradations, stretching episodes with no gist at the core...

I can understand your disappointment yaar....you were looking for some depth under the surface. But Leena proved there isn't really much under the hood here other than garbage .

The actors can still be appreciated for breathing life into the script and scenes whenever they get some decent content to portray....but overall it's clear that Leena is not interested in anything other than forced "shock value" gimmicks. This is why there is no point trying to look beyond face value here....lol we should just accept the characters don't have functioning brains beyond what they are thinking/saying in the moment

Like I said arshi didi KNOWS everything . Aaj or bhi truth bombs drop kar rahi thi ki jhanak hoti toh uske peche bhagta ab woh nahi hai isliye he's fine with me .....but arshi didi ne nutan ki bhi Pol khol di .....saying ki nutan ne Ani ko bhav nahi diya but mujhe pata hai ki voh kuch dino main bhav degi

SBS always criticizes Jhanak ki script as aimless and confused but Leena clearly doesn't seem to care

If ani is binding arshi to him just to use her to keep track of shristi for Jhanak’s sake…I’m sorry but that’s a high level of degradation for a male lead. The confidence to use other people in this show is so high, does anyone even have integrity, lead or not. I know I’m unpopular for this opinion but I have always looked at Arshi and felt her life would be much better if she stayed away from everyone else in this show except her dad. She is pretty, educated, and has talent. If she just understood that the world is so big and there is no need to fixate on Jhanak, or there are so many people out there that can love her except Ani, or that her mom is not good for her, her life would be the best here. Do you know how antsy it is to see her so close to this realization and makers insert her mom or ani to tie her to he and the boses for some reason. I hope she keeps up this outlook that leaving Ani is not something she can’t do or doesn’t feel like doing. Makers can’t have them have a honest conversation about themselves and make Ani make a level headed decision to stay because any sort of mature conversations will make him look worse when he finds that nutan is Jhanak and that he wants to be with her even after saying this…like we are set up for that. I’m already set up for that double standard and for makers to have Arshi do something dumb so it can be easy for you know whos to give reasons why she is the bad choice. The gaslighting in this show is hardcore, because I usually would never support the designated ‘villains’ but everytime I look at Arshi, makers have done so hard in making her look like someone who only started making all the bad and regrettable decisions due to her jealousy and shock. That also means I look at this show and see how Ani failed in giving enough security to his partner and even worse at damage control when her concerns came true. I used to like he and Jhanak tbh, but over time, I couldn’t understand why makers couldn’t even set up the minimal resistance to each other or some coping that would cross over the moral ambiguity. They failed at that and left me with arshi who I felt more compelled to root for because no one else was rooting for her. It may also have something to do with the fact that I started reading some Novels where the villainess was actually the good one and all that haha. There is no need for me to think that wishing well for Jhanak or ani is exclusive with wishing well for arshi. Like really she has the biggest potential away from the whole mess of everyone else. So sorry if it’s just more sad when I see people going that this should be a ruse just to watch shristi. It’s sad because it’s not impossible and when you don’t hate your designated villain that much or even at all to the point you start to empathize, you start to think that isn’t it too much? Like boy bye!

Arshi didi is always used to prophesize Runak related things....Har baar Arshi hi scream kar karke sabko bataati hai ki Ani ne use kabhi biwi nahin maana, woh bahut pehle Jhanak ka ho chuka hai . Har baar Arshi hi point out karti hai ki Jhanak se hurt hoke hi Ani uske paas aaya hai jab bhi aaya

So obviously ab Arshi didi hi prediction degi ki aage Nutan Ani ko bhaav dene waali hai and again Ani will run after her

Let me just put it this way…

If this was Arshi pov being described I would be totally on board with the views. Every story has a pov.. if the tale was being represented from her perspective surely her hurt would have been explored.

But from where I saw the tale… I only saw an Arshi pretty much clued into what was going on and she wanting to play the game her way from the periphery if not a full frontal attack. When she first noted Ani’s change of behaviour during the discussions for J’s wedding with Avinash where Ani goes ballistic in front of the BH crowd and her… they go for a coffee and she asks him some searing questions that day but when Ani was as his usual obfuscating self… she did not accept his replies rather issued a challenge that she won’t lose to Jhanak. For me, Arshi was willing to bide her time…for Ani to get over his obsession cos she felt Ani would be back to her.

Yes, Ani did use her after he came back from Kashmir… and he paid for it too. I am not saying his “sins” were washed but just that these two haven’t been honest about their relationship from different angles. Ani about his affection for Jhanak as it was building and Arshi in treating this as a game to be won. If they really intended to be with each other… they would have found the will to rebuild after Jhanak moved out of their lives but it was not to be. They did not even show the commitment to fulfill the marriage vows or register their marriage ( I know that’s on Leena 😂😂)

Today, the comment about Ani faking etc is a mechanism for fans to make sense of what this tale is telling us about the love story.
in fact, if it turns out that he is faking it… it only proves that Ani hasn’t learnt the lessons for methods vs results which will come to bite him… that’s a thing that the story has always hinted at…
