Indian Idol 15 Audition Round Discussion

Discuss the 1st round audition performances here...

Auditions were overall very good. Very few jokers and good education imparted by the judges.

Badshah was calm and entertaining, and even pretty relateable. Good thing was that he was accepting, he is not actually a singer.

Well overall solid 9.5/10 for auditions!

I was a little disappointed seeing Tajinder back this year. He was top 6 when he participated. I think anyone making it to the main rounds shouldnt be able to participate again.

Is Ritika the same girl who was in season 6?

I don’t seem to remember Ritika from any previous season. Unless she got out before the main rounds

looks like the same person. But honestly I don’t always watch auditions, I start properly when the main rounds start.

2 contestants, Manav Heera and Abid Khan Langa were not telecasted in the theatre Round! Either they did not came or got cut out

And Pawandeep and Danish were not shows even a BIT on television!

I’m by no means an expert, but after watching today’s episode the judges reasoning for not selecting contestants to go ahead didn’t always make sense.

Eg: Tajinders song lacked feel. I don’t agree with him being able to participate but he sang with a lot of feel.

The two young girls Harshita and Ragini (or something similar), I think Harshita had found the right amount of playfulness in the song.

I’d rather they give no reason than just saying things for the heck of it.

I am a big fan of SG, however, I am not liking the way she is constantly talking to Vishal while the contestant is singing 😬 Why can’t they wait till it is over?🤔

I feel overall judges are kinda more strict in their judgement. I wonder if there is any particular reason for this
