Was there any point to the bakwaas she talked during pregnancy track of how she only wants bacche ke liye naam and nothing else? 🤪😂. That Jhanak is do naav savari for a really long time is a known thing If the writer wants to explore this… I think I would consider it a potential arc… cos Jhanak’s backstory also gives sufficient clues for that pride, prejudice, foolhardiness, a bit of bravado, tendency to take offence easily ambitious but not driven etc but if the writer is simply giving a trait to satisfy a spectrum of audiences it will be a let down as it is slowly bearing out… initially her flip flops gave one an indication of her angst but now they just make her look stupid

While she mouthed a lot of things in the baby track but as a viewer I still didn’t think it odd as I felt that she was being spurred on by her past insecurities… she genuinely came to discuss with Ani but obviously things didn’t go to plan. Just as Ani was taken aback by the announcement so was Jhanak was deeply upset at him for refusing to give her an audience… then her pride takes over and she loses it.

My larger point is just like Ani had a trigger for him to take one path… there is likely one for Jhanak…

BUT the big difference is

Ani’s pathway is very relatable

Jhanak’s is too jerky….. don’t get her anymore or let me put it this way… her understanding is very superfluous at this time…

Lol that past insecurities wala excuse has become an all purpose pass for Jhanak to get away with talking and doing nonsense things in every track. Is she the only one in the world with past baggage and insecurities that she can use that to paint herself bechari per convenience?

Her past can never be undone. Her mom’s death and the surrounding circumstances can never be undone even now after her father’s truth being revealed. So will she keep using that always to justify her treatment of Ani even after his suffering has unfolded in front of her eyes? 🤷‍♀️ How is that convincing in any way?

This insecurities wala excuse of hers became stale a long time back in my eyes when writers went overboard in showing the apathetic and pompous side of her character starting from Mumbai track. Then it was clear that writers use these traits of hers just for drama. There is no insecurities wala justification for it. She mouths those lines just for token excuses on and off. But main intent is to just show her making erratic decisions as per her whims while trying to act like she’s some bechari.

Lol people gave her free pass in pregnancy track thinking that she was acting erratically due to pregnancy hormones but look what it turned out to be …the erratic behavior is hard coded into her and no, I don’t buy that this is cuz of living her life being viewed as illegitimate. She only uses that card per her convenience otherwise she has all the confidence in the world when she wants to do something 🙄

Tears rolled down even when I was irritated with Jhanak....

Jhanak let these two people who love her the most in the world.... perform her shraddh ..she let them go through such intense pain ....uff and these two.....made me feel every bit of Ani and Appu Di's pain with their performance

Bold: I have been observing this from a really long time .....especially when she left BH to give her exams . The day she left BH for Mumbai this whole insecurity angle died right there .....from there on she behaved as if she's way more superior than Ani in every aspect. Earlier she used to think she's morally superior than Ani ( she's definitely not , mere behen ke pati I can't even think about him in such a way , yeah all that was a load of BS ) .....but the moment Mumbai happened jhanak "maharani" happened .

She thinks she's better than him, and her ego is stocked by powerful men in her life be it Ani himself or Rudra or this AK ....so yeh insecurity wala angle ab bacha hi nahi hai. She had a superstar as her backup plan after all. Or agar woh nahi hota toh koi or hota. I'm saying this because that's what Leena mata had been showing for the last 150 episodes.
