Honestly, why Malika did that I don't know. But also women should not be so friendly if you don't know the other person so well (even though they met several times before does not mean that they know each other well).

Men doing this to women would perhaps look weird and not accepted.

Malika has also a weird image.. Why she pretend to be that forever young and thirsty for men type of a woman?

Even though I think Vivian could have been more polite when talking to Mallika, he was extremely rude with his 'ab pata chal gaya hoga' comment.

However, there was no point in KV bringing up that topic. Vivian was quietly standing there and not saying anything when Mallika was close. And of course, Mallika should respect everyone's personal space.
