🚩🚩🚩 He’s a walking red flag, and every woman should run far, far away from him. I get why Lakshmi left for the village, but even that wasn’t far enough to escape his drama. She should have moved to another continent 🌎 or Venus 🪐.

Rishi uses women for his own benefit. At the start of the show, he used Lakshmi to protect himself from MD. Now we find out he married Malishka just to get custody of Rohan. Even though Malishka knew the reason for the marriage, Rishi’s actions are so confusing that she thinks there’s more between them. And who wouldn’t? If there’s no real relationship, why take couple photos? Why share a bed? If I were Malishka, I’d also be hoping that maybe, just maybe, he’d fall in love. His words say, “I don’t love you,” but his actions say something different. If he really didn’t want a relationship, he could have at least given her a separate room—or a bed more than two inches away.

And let’s talk about how badly Rishi treats Lakshmi. He keeps saying, “You don’t understand me,” but how can anyone understand a man like him? He had a girlfriend while married, never defended Lakshmi from his family’s abuse, got caught in bed with his ex-girlfriend (and didn’t even try to fight the false accusation), and later accused Lakshmi of causing his father’s death. But somehow, he still thinks they can have a "fresh start" without even explaining why he married Malishka in the first place. If he had told her the truth, it would’ve answered so many of her doubts. Instead, Rishi thinks Lakshmi should fall for him just because he’s cute. And sure, Rishi is sexy—but looks aren’t enough!

If he really wanted to start fresh, why not prove he’s changed? He could protect Lakshmi, ask Malishka to leave, or try dating Lakshmi properly. She isn’t materialistic, but a small gift or date/dinner wouldn’t hurt. The fake/stolen diamond bracelet he gave her was the first gift ever—and even that got taken by the police. You know he’s not thinking about replacing it either. Rishi has no clue how to be romantic. He loves staring at Lakshmi and touching her, but when it comes to caring for her? He has no idea. And blowing breath on finger cuts is not super romantic in real life.

Honestly, I hope Lakshmi never goes back to Rishi. He doesn’t deserve her. He might be cute, but he has nothing else to offer.

Rishi is tolerated because this is TV Land but in real life, he is a woman’s worst nightmare.
