See I want to think Kaveri's behavior is a part of a bigger plan cause that will make her character fun..... But then I also almost sure that the writers have barely a clue about character arcs to shape beyond like a week or so.

I am with you on this. For all we know, Kaveri might go back to her anti Abhira phase next week and they can restart ek hazaaron mein meri behena hai crap. All it takes for them to flip is less than one episode.

leap mujhe 1-2 week ke liye dikh nhi raha, thoda trim tph kar hi sakte the RoPu ke baal, leap pe baad toh aur ajeeb lagenge if leap is going to be there.

Rohit’s incompetence and nature of running away from his problems + Sanjay’s antics which lean more toward illegal and corrupt has probably made Kaveri realise that the legacy of PF is in danger. With both her sons being useless, she has NO ONE to turn to but Armaan to carry the legacy forward. The family name and fame comes majorly from their firm which is why she puts its interests above everything else. Abhira being a competent lawyer is a bonus plus their lack of children and family ties makes them perfect to take the firm to great heights until Rohit’s child comes along and she trains him/her to take over.

I'm going to ask a very random question here.. what are the chances that they aren't cutting his hair and styling it badly cos RoPu is growing his hair for some reason? I mean I know they do post leap changes but ye mujhe story ke liye nahi lag Raha ab
