Blue: I liked it too - but then would've been better if he didn't look at Vandy and said it too. That reduced the impact of the scene for me.

Red: Was wondering why I mentioned the Telugu movie in the earlier post and turns out you connected the dot for me by this. The hero there chases and lies (not in a bad way of course) until her No becomes a Yes. Its good that Bhavani Aai matters to him (and I think you deliberately put the word 'Aai' in there to stress the importance)... so it is very important that he does have a good talk / apology with her. Yeah he has wronged Ammu, but he has also wronged Bhavani and Bhavani's daughter - and that's important too.

It shouldn't feel like 'I can talk my way out of it / can patao my saasu ma'. It does feel like he hasn't felt the real impact of what he has done in the mela / how bad he actually was there.

It wasn't just Ammu who was betrayed in the mela eps. Bhavani was betrayed too.

Perhaps yes, perhaps no. But feel its more true that you feel bad cause your favourite is being criticised. Thats fine. I'm quite lenient around Ammu too... 'For Gods sake wake up Ammu!!!"

Everyone gets criticised. Dildaar, though is projected as a 'good' character, is quite lame and I'll put him as a villain - since he facilitates the villains by not doing anything. Yeah... he 'loves' his wife... the same wife who did all these things to Ammu (someone whom he likes) and his kids. I find him selfish and opportunistic too.

Have mentioned I like Rajeev, but its not an appreciation of the things he does in the show - molestation / abuse. He does the 'villainous' things better than the other villains. Do find that Rajeev-Nimmi story felt most natural with natural growth towards its consequences along with it. If they hadn't mentioned that he was Virat's school friend, it would've been even better. But cant say the same thing about the things he is doing now - things now are quite senseless.

The "It does feel like he hasn't felt the real impact of what he has done in the mela / how bad he actually was there." in my reply to Sam above, triggered this hypothetical scene:

What if: Nimmi and a badly battered Virat are captured. Virat is tied up and on gun point and Nimmi is forced to marry Rajeev. Virat can go "oops... this is what I did too", remember his nightmare too where Bhavani said something similar to him...

But then... drums.... "aigiri nandini, nandita medini, Vishva vinodini nandanute...." Ammu enters... and saves them.

Nice scene... But why would Rajeev want to marry Nimmi... idk.

Yesterday I read the new chapter of a story in my reading list where I found below bold lines:

" Hearing her mother's words, tears rolled down from Stephina's cheeks. She knew she couldn't stop loving Herbert inspite of every wrong things he had done with her. Maybe this is how love is. It stops you from thinking logically. You just have to listen your heart and see where it takes you."

I don't know why but reading above lines I imagined Amruta and Virat there. Amruta's changing behaviour, her reaction after Virat left saying he will share what he feels, her all time ignore his negative sides and appreciate his positive sides. Is it because of love that she forgets what he had done with her in pasts? Does love overpower her brain and mind way too much? What do you think??

It is similar.. or at least thats what the writers are showing. Dont know if the 'wrong things' Herbert did is in the same league as what Virat did. She did have her head dominating for quite some time, but I'm surprised... and even shocked... that what he did didn't 'kill' her heart. Why didn't it kill her heart? No idea... except the writers didn't want it to be killed.

Bold: He did wrong things more than Virat but as that is a ff and also the guy did all blunders out of his obsessive nature and obsession for the girl though he never forced her nor torture her physically and now he's regretting for his wrong doings and as story isn't finish yet so don't know if there will be happy ending or not.

Red: Ohh nice scene it was though Asnoor is still improving. If these similar dialogues will be said by Amruta to Virat that episode would be fireee...trp gainer episode it would be. But alas it never happened. But Zain too is acting in a serial where he's totally mommy's boy and a weak character? I'm shocked. So now a days seriously mls are this much weak? No power? I've said before but wont forget or let others forget. Virat got worse after Mela towards Bhavani. Babita Lift incident he also had bhavani arrested. He knew clearly Bhavani wasn't involved. Like other villians he didn't hold Amu account directly but had Amu mother arrested. Attack your enemy family to get revenge.

Virat still had the balls... yes he horribly went to Jahan apartment to ask Amu to go to Goa. After all he did- asked Bhavani make your daughter understand. How dare Virat even speak to bhavani. This example motivates my opinion there is no point in forgiveness. He will protect his family like withdrawing FRI like Jayesh asked but only arrest Amu family

We need to remember how bad Virat was after Mela too

I agree with your points too. Had found Bhavani's 'Virat ghar ka jamai hai', 'court, police station ke chakkar kaatke thak chuki hu', 'woh tumhara pati hai' back then 'unbelievable'. In a way, your post reminded me of that again. That Ammu even went back, even to prove her innocence, even more so. The reasons I am a pro separation guy and want Virat to make the 'same' mistake again, and Ammu to 'destroy' him this time.

idk... probably going with stereotypes. Either he is a momma's boy (bad) or a joru's gulam ()... Khud ke bhi views hote hai... which may not be the same as mom / wife / anyone else... Differences b/w people in relationships (any kind) can happen because of these differences in views too... but..probably thats boring. He can even be dumb because of his own views, which even he is not aware is making him dumb.
