This trailer has got to be worse than Cirkus!

We have one-expression Tiger, OTT Ranveer, bland DPad, forced comedy through Akki, and a flowerpot role for Kareena. I can't believe I'm saying this but literally Arjun looks better than all 5 above.

Only two that shine here are Jackie Shroff and Ajay.

And yeh kya hai BW ko aaj kal Ramayan ki laat? Yahan bhi Ramayan ko istamal kar rahe hain. At least here they aren't claiming its Ramayan, just an adaptation, unlike Adipurush.

Naa. Just naa. Singham and Singham Returns were good films. This is like Rohit's Golmaal series. #1 awesome, #2 okayish, and then downhill from there.

Isn’t Deepika playing a cameo in the movie? That too the movie has not even released.If a cameo, that too without even watching it, can trigger this many of essays. I am no fan but got to admit that she is a superstar .

And then we have Alia, supposedly a top actress, whose cameo in RRR nobody cared for despite the movie becoming a mega blockbuster. The so called top actress goes invisible without an author backed role elevating her.

Kaya, yes she was - in a song-dance...and why take the outcome of Circus against Deepika and Ranveer...Rohit Shetty was responsible for this treatment of a Shakespeare comedy and Ranveer played the role the way Shetty wanted him to play...so the "clown" is on Shetty as far as to the movie.

Ranveer's clownish behaviour outside movies is his way of entertaining people regardless if someone gets entertained by this or not...an entertainer rarely can satisfy all the people

False equivalence. It can be said superstar Deepika can only manage small role in movies where a male superstar carries the load of its success…here we have not just one but a couple of stars

False equivalence. I doubt BW has arrived to a stage where both the male and female superstars can be measured by the same yardstick.

And you are saying we have other stars in this movie, but why is no one talking about them?

Btw how is it a false equivalence? I was comparing both the cameos.

You didn’t reply to my other points. But chalo, even you will agree that there are more people talking about Deepika than any other star from the movie that too despite being aware of hers being a cameo role. I personally didn’t even watch the trailer yet btw. Rohit Shetty not my kind of director.

bold: a responsible actor/actress makes every role powerful: a lead role like in Pathaan and Fighter and guest appearances like in Jawan and Kalki. In Singham again, it may be a supporting role (neither you nor I don't know, yet).

Pathaan was a meaty action role (whatever a disliker of the movie and/or of Deepika writes), in Fighter, her role was as prominent as Hrithik's (and well executed), her cameo in Jawan was (rightly) praised and important for the movie, about Kalki, I only read (didn't watch the movie), but apparently, it was also an important part.

The stage of her career is fine as she still gets talked about a loooot
