Lack of comprehension to understand the emotional instability of people in extreme situations like deaths of beloved ones can anyway will lead to think poorly about the persons' capacity and behaviour . Literally no one will be in right sense in these situations unless you are some saint who has high EQ. In the story, it was the involved characters who were affected by the tragedy and who were emotionally scarred not the viewers nor outside characters. Putting a weitage on whose pain is more is beyond my comprehension. If roles were reversed in the situation, the response would have been totally different. Makers already showed this kind of situation and the reponse from viewers were predictable
