BTW it's kind of annoying the way the drama keeps jumping from one track to another, without properly showing one track. It's a daily so they could have easily developed pursuing his photography career. Both time they showed about his career, it was to create drama only. Similarly Sitara college track etc. They are focusing too much on OTT stuffs and melodrama.

They don't show Sitara consciously making bonds with anyone, but there was a tacit bond between her and Tahir, not as a dil-fil one, but for whatever reasons Tahir liked her badtameezi and standing up for herself. Like salar also told Sitara. In Nani's case too, yeah the lie was instrumental in nai warming towards Sitara, but I think Sitara standing up for Nani in walima also would have warmed Nani towards Sitara

Honestly, I don't think I am expecting Tahir to play cupid or the nice accepting elder for Sitara and Salar. But I do think he pities her and to a certain extent, respects her as an individual. Like as you said, this guy thinks very poorly of his own son and literally thinks that Salar stalked and harassed this girl into marrying him. The thing is Tahir is the only one with the power to give Sitara what she wants AND needs right now and that is space and time away from Salar, on her own terms. Yes, he wants her out of Salar's life but honestly, like Saba said, he is not a villain from a drama. In all probability, he thinks that this marriage, regardless of Salar's genuine love for Sitara, will fall apart eventually. He has indicated so on many instances. Tahir and Sitara understand each other on a certain level and based on that understanding, Tahir is willing to provide her protection. He has said on multiple occasions that if she wants to leave Salar, he will support her. And I think that is what is playing on everyone's minds out here.
