Another reality show involving singers and dancers Ek Se Bhadkar Ek is premiering on Zee TV on June 7. The show will have 7-8 couples participating including TV actors and reality show winners. Aneek Dhar and Jasveer Kaur, who are the part of the show, gave us details.
Jasveer Kaur, Pavitra of Betiyaan fame, says, "The show is amazing. I accepted this show because there is no difference between me and dances. I have done one reality show before this so I am feeling more confident now. I think I have polished my skills."
About the show, she adds, "It is going to be a fun show and I hope I will learn some singing and others learn some dancing. People come to know about our different talents through such shows and we also get to learn so many things."
The contestants do not know their partners yet. "I saw one hoarding of mine with one singer and asked the makers whether he is going to be my partner but was told no. There is going to be a surprise for all of us. Only when we shoot will we come to know about our partners. But otherwise I know my co-contestants like Apurva, Shilpa, Kushal and Purbi so we will have great time."
Aneek Dhar, winner of Sa Re Ga Ma Pa Challenge 2007, adds, "The concept is very new and interesting. I will have a TV actress in my team. For me this is not going to be competition, I am going to enjoy the show and will try to sing well. I think I will be able to satisfy the judges."
Some of the ex-contestants from his show - Raja, Poonam, Sumedha, Harpreet and L'il champ Sanchita - are also participating. "I also know few of the TV actresses who are the part of the show like Saloni, Jasveer, Sayantani and Abhishek. Though I have not seen their shows regularly, my mother keeps on telling me about them. So far my interaction with them has been very nice," he says.
The show is going to run around 10 weeks. Every week there will be an elimination based on judges, marks and public voting. The judges of the show are Abhijeet Bhattacharya and Ustaad Ahmad Ali Khan. Bhojpuri superstar Ravi Kissen is hosting the show.
