the stepdad just flipped towards end of the second episode. he was so supportive and thought of her as his own daughter. what happened? what made him flip? Is it real or is he pretending?

This happens a lot in these shows, they raise someone as kids and when they're adults its like "sorry you're adopted you have no rights goodbye" or "you're not my biological kid bye".. like how can you raise someone for 20 odd years and not form an attachment?

But for 1.5 episodes they did show us he was attached.

If he was shown as aloof and as someone who saw her as a sauteli beti, who treated her diff from his bio kids, it would have made sense.

he did an about face just for plot convenience' sake.

It makes no sense whatsoever... in episode one they introduced a nice loving family except for the pesky aunt. Suddenly, the mom dies and the stepdad realises that the girl isn’t his biological child. huh?

I mean even if he’s faking it because he wants her to leave due to that aunt’s "taunts" then he’s still a sh*tty person. What guarantees that she won't face something similar at the biological dad’s house?..

They could have just shown Ushna's character saying she wants to go to her biological dad's place because she is sick of the taunts..that would have been more plausible ..

I think a few years ago there was a similar show where Alizay Shah finds out that her dad isn't her biological dad anymore and then she leaves her mum and loving dad to live with a sh*tty abusive dad because you know he's the real dad..it had Khussal Khan as her boyfriend and she ends up getting married to Ali Rehman Khan.. it was a total misery p*rn that show..

I guess you are talking about Bebasi. Such a crapfeast it was. The girl was dumbo and ungrateful. Her stepdad did so much her still she wanted to go to her good for nothing dad even ditched bf who loved her. It also didn't help that Alizey was on full makeup playing bechari role. Only ost was good.

I use to watch that show I was really shocked that the FL Was a Toxic one BTW I loved it's OST
