Abhira isn't the sort of person who would leave Armaan hanging at the altar. Even during Mandir wedding One of the major reason she agreed was that She didn't wanted to leave Armaan alone.

The moment the family agrees to accept Abhira, she will be running back to the same family like she didn't just get abused and humiliated. I just can't relate to or like Abhira's character anymore - all that talk about self-respect in the beginning

What exactly are the writers trying to convey with this pathetic storyline?
