I have a different take here and even with armaan ruhi scene where he tells abhira kya sochegi if she gets to know they have come together...... they do trust each other.....but when it comes to ruhi they still have dar and insecurity .... or maybe I am just reading too much into the scene....but I felt like that

I also got the same feeling here that Ruhi will always be that one issue jo humesha unke beech rahega. It's not longer about trust, it's more about that one niggling problem that despite being solved, will always hover over the relationship no matter how.much they trust each other.
