I know she was upset with Wahaj for not giving her an interview but doing a meet and greet. She accused him of being money hungry as if she doesn’t make money off of views 😂 I think her opinion on people changes with her mood so I don’t get too excited when she says something positive or too upset if she says something negative.

That was completely out of line especially given how so many other actors have not given her an interview and Hassan even clarifying that Wahaj has given him 2 interviews, one solo and one with Yumna. It just reeked of bitterness.

So I joined IF after so many years about a week ago. I feel like I'm in a battle ground. I only came here for healthy discussions on tv shows & actors that I like. I choose to stay silent even though I know people are trying to instigate or pick a fight. Honestly it's not worth. I feel like it's a crime to like Yumna here. Sometimes it's better to stay silent, because some battles are not worth fighting. I watched one of Yumna's interview, it makes no difference to her if people say negative things. Sometimes silence is the best answer.

Mein, SMD,GM or will it be upcoming TB2?
Obviously it’s gonna be SMD for now and wahaj is using pr for this and doing his own negative publicity right? I don’t know who set this narrative but definitely people who like wahaj didn’t

I'm astonished by the amount of hate people have for someone who doesn't know their existence. Anyways that's the plan, it's just not good for my mental peace.

Everyone has PR . My only question is that their teaser has been appreciated by the likes of Mahira Khan so why would they use someone like Aima Baig for publicity ?

If Gentlemen is not doing good there won't be an impact to Yumna or Humayun's name

Same about Mann Jogi ,it won't hamper Bilal

The fact is these shows are not well made

GM and MJ are not concerning,if they are not good it is not hurting to see the failure even if one likes the actors I really like Yumna and Bilal.

But it is hurting to see ZPKB not getting what it deserves despite being a really good show.The chemistry between Sajal and Hamza is so good and other than leads even the side characters are awesome

Every reviewer says only positive things about this show

Sometimes it's not that easy to get how a mediocre show is getting enormous views(JN) and a viewers not ready to watch good shows

The IT couple was said by Maria B in the PS and not part of Mein promotions. That PS came out in early Nov whereas Mein started in early August. Maria B was also all gushy about Sajal Bilal chemistry when they did a PS with her during O Rangreza. The ottness is Maria B's MO for years. Besides, fashion PS that use flowery words and titles to describe the couple and chemistry are dime a dozen.

But even if shows and films want to promote a pair, what of it:

• Didn't GM producers do a poll on both actor and character ship names during promotions?
• Didn't GM producers release a poster that said "unmatched chemistry" after the first teaser dropped?
• Didn't one of Nayab promotions poster use the word "ultimate power couple"?
• Didn't Jhoom promotion use the word "impeccable chemistry" for Haroon and Zara Noor.
• Didn't KAM3 promotion use "impeccable onscreen chemistry" for Feroze and Iqra?
• Didn't Hum TV use "magical chemistry of the stunning Maya Ali and the ever handsome Bilal Ashraf" during Yunhi promotions?
  
• Didn't KMKT leads do a bold magazine photoshoot for Hello Pakistan during the promotions period (in addition to the poster shoot)?
• Didn't Radd leads do a Diva magazine photoshoot trying to be hot for promotions of Radd (in addition to the poster shoot)?
• [Edited to add] Didn't Jaan Nisar promotions use "cherished couple" and "fiery chemistry" for Danish and Hiba?
  

Hyping the lead couple is now part and parcel of promotions of many big shows. So the selective outrage is highly hypocritical.

Maya has also worked with many many other co-actors including Affan, Hamza A, Imran Abbas, Ahsan Khan, Fahad Mirza, etc. but didn't have any link-up rumours with them. Also, what a disgusting insinuation to make about a female actor. Talk about s**shaming! There's also a world of a diff when two single people are linked versus when you are being called an adulterer and homewrecker.

The production has PR/marketing, whatever you want to call it and they will market their product just like everyone else is doing. Is some of it annoying? Yeah but it’s happening across the board. This promoting chemistry thing has become a standard especially after Tere Bin. And can you completely blame producers when our reviewers and audience has become somewhat obsessed with it? SH only look for chemistry it seems. Hassan was even like that before TB when he interviewed Wahaj and grilled him on his chemistry with his costars. Now the obsession is on another level.

My point is almost every show is being marketed this way. In the end the audience will decide what works and what doesn’t. For example, even KMKT was marketed on chemistry and they even had that a PS done before the show aired. In the end, it wasn’t really the marketing but the story and acting that made people feel their chemistry.

This is a business though and these producers are trying to sell their product. I don’t think we should start hating on actors for it. It’s not like Wahaj and Ayeza or Yumna and Humayun were running around calling themselves the it couples. It was production. I doesn’t even bother me because I understand it’s marketing. It only bothered me for Mein because that was clearly a lie and false marketing…you can see I’m still salty about that 😂 Other than that, it’s literally the strategy for every show. SMD is not unique in this situation.
