I don't like it when the wife takes the husband's role. Also he is very poor. How can he provide. I hated watching them being treated like servants. I know it is a job. And jobs must be respected. But Aaliya came from a better background. And seeing her compromising made me think for how long she will be fine with such a life! smiley13

Acha, but I am liking sabeena here like i liked her in KP. She is doing fine job as Aaliya. I guess for a change we got to see dominating wife which is again a refreshing thing. Also I believe they are helping each other. It's not like that ibrahim is useless or he does nothing. He equally contributes.

Yeah they don't have proper job or richie rich future but har story ameer logon ki ho yeh bhi toh zaroori nhi.

I think it is nice to see a domineering wife being shown as a positive. At the same, I hear what Awida is saying. The relationship feels a little bit lopsided to me in that we don't see what Ibrahim is offering to her in terms of mental and emotional well-being. She said she was absolutely frightened for her life when she thought she had lost him. It would be nice to know what it is that she sees in him that she is getting out of this relationship.

Right now, it very much feels like two lost children somehow struggling their way through rather than two adults. Aaliya is not leading because she is a natural but more like there is no one else to help them out. That makes me feel sad for her and we can see why Anita and others see Ibrahim as a burden that Aaliya is carrying.

I want to see more self-confidence from both of them. They don't need to be rich or doing posh jobs but rather a quiet sense of self. Aaliya can happily lead but we need to see that Ibrahim is grounded and quietly being her shadow

Masha Allah you understood my fears even though I expressed them in a bad way. smiley23

This is what I mean. And there is a say here : ( a shadow of a man is better than a shadow of a wall) which means being with a man (even though he is weak is better than relaying on a wall for a shadow. But I don't agree with that. Coz if she can handle her matters she would've better without him.

But love has its own ways. Here they share their worries, comfort eachother, and she is thankfull to him for taking her away from Shabbir, and saving her life. She knows that he risks his own life for her.

Still I think that they have no future, simply because Shabbir is a strong man.

In Qurbaan Bilal played a guy who fought for his love but was let down by his lover, and her powerfull family. And lost everything. Same happened to Bilal's character in Saanp Sirhi. And I am afraid he'll face the same fate here. smiley13

If she would have been living with shabbir then I would definitely wanted her to leave him and stay alone as living alone is much better than living in a toxic relationship. But in this case, she is living with ibrahim who is not helping her financially but he is there to support her emotionally.

If Zafar Miraj can give happy ending to Muqabil's couple, then i guess aaliya and ibrahim will have happy ending too.

Why did he have to live in a separate place, isn't he working in the same city.

Shabbir's character makes me feel sad for him, Goher was so good even in that one scene.

Ibrahim being a looser in love is smiley42 The ost is so beautiful smiley27

The growth Ibrahim had, from the shy guy who didn't know how to live a day without Aliya, to the guy who pulls the chair for her and then sings her favourite song, taking her to a restaurant smiley42

The change in style along with change in Ibrahim's behaviour is perfectly captured by Bilal...I love the subtle but gradual gain in confidence he had in this episode smiley41

The episode was so cute. I was grinning throughout. Sabeena & Bilal looked so good today.

I loved the Valentine’s day scene where Ibrahim said that he used to like a nomad because she was a ladaku & now likes Aaliya ji. Aaliya be like main ladaku lagti hoon tumhe but he said bahadur lagti hain. I loved how Aaliya called her father one true love. Daughters are so attached to their fathers smiley27

Aaliya’s attachment with Ibrahim seems a bit unhealthy to me though. I love how Ibrahim has started gaining confidence.

Bilal surprises me every time, he’s so good as Ibrahim. Sabeena is equally good. Why is Gohar’s screen space so less though? I enjoy his performance so much.

It's not unhealthy. I feel that Aliya is just going through a phase. She will be alright.

Even I got upset when she was sad about him getting the job & the later scenes of her reaching the office. But she has gone through so much and finally she got someone on whom she can emotional depend so she is trying to hold onto Ibrahim.

Also she has already seen so much power, money evrything but izzat & pyaar kabhi mili nai Shabbir se. Hence, she told Ibrahim that she never asked for anything. But yes for future & for the betterment of both, Ibrahim needs to confront the challenges alone & Aliya will eventually understand...
