What even?

Veronica Singh? It is a nice name by itself but with an Indian surname it sounds very weird, esp if you are based in India (Maybe it's just me who feels that way. No disrespect intended.)

Veronika, that way her name can rhyme with mine. The "Ver" came from Ranveer. And "Ika" came from Deepika. Man this is going to be one good-looking child. Veronika was the character that changed Deepika's career trajectory. Yes, it was written by Imtiaz. While I did not like the script as a whole with Meera and Saif's selfish character getting a happy ending. He did give Deepika a great opportunity to showcase her talent. That is what friends are for I guess.

I am a very similar name followed by Singh and my last name.

Lol I don't think they'd wanna name a kid based on their shipping name or character's name. The current gen seem to have lost it with names for kids..See what beautiful names their parents gave them

I personally don't see them naming their daughter after one of Deepika's signature roles like Veronica or Piku. They'll want her to have her own unique identity.

If she was named after one of Deepika's roles, maybe Leela since it was on the set of Ram-Leela that Deepika and Ranveer's love story began.
