If makers want us to believe that Anirudh truly loved Jhanak, they have to come up with a strong redemption arc for him..kyunki abhi to since fire incident his behaviour shows that whatever he felt for Jhanak that is anything but love..

Coming to his care for Arshi, we should not forget that Anishit were together for 6-7 years..also, Anirudh has been portrayed as a responsible, empathetic individual in the earlier episodes..so his care for Arshi is mostly out of respect for their long term relationship, his guilt and the family pressure that is feeding his guilt..also, he accepted Arshi as his wife ..so it is obvious that he will care for his wife..

Comparing Anirudh's love towards Arshi and Jhanak, while Anishit definitely seems to have somewhat normal relationship..but again, big things don't happen in a normal set up..we should not forget what he has done for Jhanak earlier..

When Anirudh and jhanak did the deed we weren’t sure if it had happened so there was a poll here. I thought that it did happen and Jhanaks pregnancy will be revealed before Anirudh married Arshi and the pregnancy will be used to bring Anirudh and jhanak together and they’ll marry..but these writers turned it all the wrong way..Anirudh is just being degraded further with this pregnancy by denying his paternity..and letting jhanak down again..if he can’t stand by her when she needs him the most..then he’s not worth anything..
