I genuinely like how this show is being written. The show is not only feminist but equalist in many ways which is so refreshing. The Sahiba conversation showed that despite her own privileged upbringing and despite her so-called sophistication according to Salar's mother, she herself has internalised many sexist social ideas. Like she is saying men are very selfish and in the same breath is expecting her SO to sacrifice his passion because society around her has taught her that men are expected to fulfil women's needs and aim for money and status, and in order to do so, if needed, they are expected and are required to sacrifice their own needs and wants, and if they do not that, they are selfish. It was so illuminating. Also, despite having an SO, she is still eager to accompany Salar, who has been consistently rude to her, to Canada when she is supposedly going there for a "me time". It is good that she is not (at least till now) show to be malicious and is being portrayed realistically because she is being written as a product of her own social circumstances and lacks any critical thinking despite having the resources to do so. She is clearly keeping her options open by getting closer to Salar while being in a relationship because she has been taught to value those things and is willing to jump ships if required even though it is clear that Salar is very much like this Umair guy and consequently she will be eventually disillusioned with him as well.

Wasn't there a proposal for Sahiba after Salar rejected her? Why doesn't she just get married. I hate this Sahiba and her family. smiley11

Exactly my point. Girl, this guy has insulted you once. I wouldn't even be talking to him if I had your kind of money.

It is a drama, so all the girls have to go after the ML, and all the boys have to go for the FL. smiley36

Sitara is an orphan who lives with her uncle and his wife and daughter. She went to the wedding functions of her cousin..lived with her relatives for few days. Salar who is a friend of her cousin: Salman left his house because his father slapped him after he rejected to marry the daughter of one of his father's fellows.

When Sitara and Salar met she thought he is poor. She treated him well, they became friends. Her cousin Nimi created a huge misunderstanding and defamed Sitara, making the whole family see her in Salar's room. Salar thought Sitara wanted to trap him to marry her, so he left angrily.

Sitara's cousin Qasim propsed her. He knew the truth. Because in waleema function he overheared Nimi telling the truth to Sitara. In that waleema Salar came and humiliated Sitara in public (another misunderstanding).

Salar found out the truth, and learned that Qasim wanted Sitara to stay framed . On her nikah day Qasim got a job offer with a condition that he is bachelor, so he asked Sitara to wait for few months. (plan of Salar)

Salar exposed Qasim in front of Sitara but she blames him for runing her life. He family wanted to get her married to an old man with children. Salar came to declare his love for her.

Thanks for sharing!

This looks like an engagement rather than a walima. I am assuming so because I expect more traditional oomph in costuming in a walima. So, Sahiba and her mother are there, so I am assuming they won't turn negative. They might not be shippers but they may bow out gracefully. Kiran is there, so....a Kiran redemption arc? Who knows? Saba and Junaid look great and my assumption that Salar's mom and nani would be supportive, at least eventually in the former's case is coming true. Loved Sitara's look and Salar looks too happy.

Yes. Seems like an engagement function. I hope this doesn't happen in the last episode.

Yes. I am surprised to see Sahiba and her parents there. Also Kiran. smiley22 I think Kiran became evil only because of her mom.

Actor Syed Mohsin Gillani posted this video a month ago. Maybe this show's shooting is over now.
