He invested everything on Aloo. What returns did he get? Varia were a big hit. But Kalank wiped out that jodi too. Kjo put all his eggs in one basket. YJHD is still his biggest non SRK film. Only blockbuster in two decades. What can one expect?

As much as I hate her. Alia is smart in these things. Why in gods name would she associate herself with floppy Varun, whose last hit, ironically - was Badrinath Ki Dulhania

Varia are still loved. Now Alia madame finds it beneath her stature to work with Varun who has been flopping for a while.

This is what happens when he offends his core audience of SRK fans and stops making films with SRK and an A-List actress.

On KWK, Rani herself told KJo he should make a mature love story for SRK and Kajol. She seems to have better business sense than KJo does.
