Prachi Desai to play one of the female leads in Life Partner

By now its common knowledge that TV actress Prachi Desai (of Kasamh Se fame) is all set to make her Bollywood debut opposite Farhan Akhtar in Rock On. However, even before her debut film hits the screens; Prachi has already bagged her next film.

The buzz has it that Prachi has been signed as one of the female leads in Abbas-Mustan's home production Life Partner. The film which stars Fardeen Khan, Govinda, Tusshar Kapoor and Genelia D'Souza is directed by Rumi Jaffrey. Bollywood Hungama spoke with Prachi to confirm this piece of news. "Yes, I have signed the film but it's too early to talk about it. I can't reveal many details about Life Partner. All I can say is that when I heard the script, I loved it and am happy that I am a part of it," signed off the bubbly actress.

With two big banner films on hand, looks like Prachi is all set to kick-start her Bollywood career with a bang.

Ughhh Tusshar, Govinda and Fardeen all hopeless actors... sorry i dont see this as an oppoturnity I think its a bad move.

But popeye, things may work out na? 😊 See nobody expected 'Bheja fry' to be a hit and see how this movie has started a genre of its own?

And what will PD do by coming back to KS now? In fact, it could just go off the air, for all that we all care. If the leap had not happened, there was still a chance, but I really don't want PD to come and play a Mom to Priya and others? Whats there to do in KS anyway?

Great going PD. I hope you keep on getting better and better projects. Abbas Mastan just gave the biggest hit Race of the year and the Director Rumi Jaffrey finshed his project with Amitabh, Salman and Priyanka Chorpa. I think its a great crew. Fardeen is very cute and Govinda and Tusshar are great comedians. Wish you all the luck and hope it's a big success.
