Finished watching Dr. Romantic S1.

Fast pacing, engaging, no-nonsense, crisp and eventful show. Nothing shown over-board, nothing looked undercooked as well. Emergency room was way too hectic and variety of cases covered. Enjoyed the watch.

Finished Tale of Nine Tailed few days back..it was pretty good..mostly a supernatural romance with some mild horror vibes..Loved the bromance, ML Yeon and his brother Rang. FL was good and the lead couple too.

Started: Cdrama As Beautiful As You and Kdrama Tale of Nine Tailed 1938 (sequel)

Finished: Follow Your Heart, The Princess Royal, Lost You Forever, Dreaming of a Freaking Fairytale.

I started on Follow Your Heart a while ago and still didn't finish. As for The Princess Royal, I recently finished it after putting on hold to watch Lost You Forever. Loved Lost You Forever so much for it's characters driven story. I'm still so attached to them and I don't think we'll get these type of complex and tortured characters again for some time.

Loved My Journey To You as well. I rated a 9.5/10. It was definitely a great watch with memorable characters.

Follow Your Heart was a lighthearted watch for me. Tbvh comedy

Princess Royal, I didn't like how things turned out in the second half of the show. I dropped the novel so idk what exactly changed in the adaptation but SRQ's dominance towards the end was not good to watch. His schemes completely overshadowed the main plot. Li Rong-LiChen and Li Chen-Qin Zhen Zhen tracks were good. I wish the palace/royal family drama was highlighted more.

Lost You Forever, I might have so much to rant about. Keeping it simple, I really liked Cang Xuan's path towards the throne. I felt like this drama explained why an emperor is cold, heartless, and always looking at the big picture. The way he learned everything step by step, making compromises - ngl Cang Xuan will be one of the best emperor characters in Cdrama history. Each one of the characters can be justified in their own shoes. I had a hard time swallowing the fact that XY chose TSJ over anyone else but then I saw Yang Zi giving an explanation of XY's choice in a promotional event and that made me accept XY's choice. If I had to pick favorites I'd always pick Cang Xuan, the best emperor any nation could have, and Xiang Liu, a man who knows what he can have vs what he can afford to wish for.

In The Princess Royal, I continued to watch because Li Rong's and Pei Wen Xuan's relationship got stronger and they support each other. Yes after a bit, I find SRQ's goal to remove Li Chuan is too much. SRQ ended up hurting his own family instead. I understand that he doesn't want a ruthless ruler. He seems to have a very stubborn streak and he should have work together with Li Rong. There were some dragging parts.

As for Lost You Forever, I liked XY and CX from the start maybe due to how their story was shown at the beginning. Their childhood is full of tragedy and loss. I was crying for them in the whole first episode and the rest of the drama. Those child actors were amazing. In terms of XY choosing Jing, I do understand her choice based on her requirements. She is very damaged and she wanted someone who she can rely on. Both XY and XL gave each other mixed signals and they are in the opposing side. If he only surrender and stop fighting against Xiyan. CX tried many times to mitigation their conflict but XL was too loyal to his foster father and the soldiers. XY does love XL and she gave him several chances for him to choose her. As for CX, she only loves him as a family. He gave up his personal happiness to get the throne to protect her. I feel all his pain and longings. Ultimately, each steps he made for the throne, he loses her. Yes, CX makes a great benevolent emperor. Like you, I love CX and XL and Jing pales in comparison. Overall, Lost You Forever is one of the best drama for me for having characters complexity and flaws especially CX and XL. These are memorable characters and well acted by Zhang Wanyi and Tan Jian Ci. Yang Zi did a phenomenal job as well. I love all her scenes with Zhang Wanyi.
