The basic characters were written very idealistically & thoughtfully in that show.

But you have to admit, the best forbidden love story was between me and Randheer's vintage car. I was such a big fan of it. Woh gaadi toh dekhne ko bhi zyaada mili nahi humko, aankhein taras gayi uske intezaar mein..

KUDCA lost plot after 50 episodes. They started focussing on random BS love triangles instead of the actual post-Partition era, where things are genuinely hard for those who had to cross the border and resettle in India. Turning a blind eye to their agony, their suffering, their efforts to rebuild our nation is where they lost me as an audience. I wish it had ended then and there instead.

On your post, KUDCA was love yaar. The first 50 episodes were so beautiful and I still have the soulful music of KUDCA on my phone. All 3 versions of the title song - female, male, and duet. I have them all. On any day they just transport me into that magical world.

I stopped watching after the partition era because they ruined it at that point, but pre-partition episodes were just too good!

Yes, I remember you were active on that forum too, it was quite a unique show till the heartbreaking Partition episodes.
