Well, I think you can help me here, in my case I am looking for an app that helps me learn about the history of works of art around the world, that tells me where they are located, their history, how old they are and so on, no. I know of no application that offers this service. Can anyone here recommend an application that achieves this goal?

Haven't you tried searching in the same store for your phone? It is very likely that there you can find an application that can help you with what you are looking for, but if I find any of those characteristics, assume that I will return here to tell you what application it is, what it is called and where to find it.
