Yes true , because Rudra is a cameo role and so not much baggage and family ...just showed a struggle for Jhanak through his wife...even if he wasnt married it wouldn't matter ..they wanted female insult and show how much she struggled for her success all alone bearing all the unnecessary insults !
She did value him and yes , that is the whole point of this track..to make Jhanak more strong and bring her out of Anirudh shadow. The titular character was always weak and Anirudh was strong.But for that they just made his character so different from what they had showed us . An entirely different person. How is it possible for someone to become so different. An entire flip and Arshi suddenly becoming all intelligent and not trusting Anirudh at all !!!
There is nothing extraordinary for me that Guruji is doing for Jhanak other than its a parallel drawn with slight changes in Anirudh character.
Like you said its just to bring her out of Anirudh shadow..., but they didnt try anything new instead brought a Guruji jr instead of Anirudh with slight changes...
But yes people are loving it and they are gaining trp so nothing matters...
