The problem here is makers think TRP audience will not like romanticizing relationship without marriage, that's the only difference I can see because with armaan 1.0 they both were not at all in love or in a real marriage but they showed many intimate shots, him helping her in wearing saree etc, with armaan 2.0 abhira had fallen in love but they were still husband and wife so scenes like tickling her, infamous backhug and better feel kawane wala scene were shown. Now they need strike a balance between online viewers and TRP audience so they are using their editing skills and by seeing twitter majority is happy with it.

But is this true? I have not watched prev gens. Were there no romantic scenes during the gf- bf phase of prev gens or divorced phase of gen 2? I thought there were.

Seems like they have realized it that's why this sudden wrap up of ruhi-rohit drama without the ending making sense, the next track has to be identity reveal followed by the wedding, atleast I believe it will be
