It was similar to Ghum. Ghum just went one step ahead with the surrogacy track.

KD was similar like Ghum except the surrogacy track and PL -ML never gets married. At the end PL plays cupid for ML-FL and marries someone else.

Madhav’s death could turn Vidya against Abhira/Armaan..like the Daddaji death track in season 1…anyway Madhav is a useless piece of furniture ..might as well trash him in the interest of the story

Madhav will become the new fossil. I don’t think he is going away

Another great way of separating them would be a family member's death (let it be Madhav) the family blaming Abhira and throws her out. Armaan is upset with her too but decides to leave the house with her. Abhira sees how Vidya and the family needs him so she runs away without telling anyone anything about her whereabouts. Then a leap of 2-3 years, they meet again. THE ANGST WOULD SERVE
