I think this is more a directorial failure, some part acting too… but since Hiba is kinda competent ( ITV wise) in romantic, even some pathos scenes… I would say probably it’s the inability of the director to articulate the expression required at this stage ( scripting failures too.. I can see that slip up from Krushal too in scenes at this stage coz it’s so vague what they want conveyed so how do the actors manufacture a correct expression?

I would think they would want Jhanak to try to act indifferent but somewhere the mask slips up especially among people who know her from before.

So this Adi scene would have to be one such one where amidst her schooled expression of “I have moved on” suddenly creeps that “ why did you bring up that guy’s name”? “Who’s he to me now”? Jhanak is angry with Sirjee of that there’s no doubt but has decided to put it behind her to move on… so as she is not yet indifferent to him, the mask slips up.

I haven’t watched the scene so just rambling 😂

No comparison possible atm between Anupama and Jhanak except the titular show bit.

There is less pathos shown for Jhanak’s build up if the intention was to build up her individual journey, Ani’s contribution ( good bad ugly) to her life till this stage shouldn’t have been highlighted thus…..

Coz despite all the issues ( understandably so) it was largely Jhanak who did not want to commit to the relationship; her anger today with Sirjee isn’t about Arshi wedding it’s that he did not trust her at a particularly low point in her life) this is difficult for Jhanak but not catastrophic 😂 so I don’t see any graph that excludes Ani

If they can build up a sob story from herein good luck to them but I am not that customer!!

Anupama had ITV success written into her character… Saare paapi the 😂😂😂

They would do better to build on this success in whatever form to explore in other mediums

I agree ! He is versatile and also good at the scripts he chooses .. the only drawback for him is his voice.. it’s different
