Abhira tries calling Armaan and doesn't get through so Ruhi is all like tumhe itna bhi Nahi pata Armaan case ke liye out of town Gaya Hai.. and Abhira is all like pata Hai but out of town Gaya Hai, out of network Nahi some crap about phone itha sakta Hai and Surekha says Dekha Kaise baat karti Hai ye Ruhi se and you want her to fight Ruhi's case..

Vidya asking Armaan to talk to his ex girlfriend ex almost biwi and current Bhai Ki Biwi who's still into him is all kinds of wrong by both sons! But isn't she the parent of the century!!

Tbh, I don't expect anything else. Any sane and respectful family or people will never accept Ruhi again in this family. KP doing this to his fav grandson doesn't make any sense, but to keep Ruhi in the loop the show is doing this. She ain't going anywhere.
The best thing the show could have done to justify this is to make Ruhi fake apologies to Poddar's and say that she wants to give chance to her marriage under the ruse of staying close to Armaan, and then trying to create MU between Abhimaan. But for some weird reason the CVs don't want to make Ruhi bad and throwing other characters under the bus.
