Abhira has not created all this drama to magically fix the issues between Ar Rohit. All she's doing with the watch breaking drama, instigating them to unite for Aryan, play kabbadi etc is to remind Rohit that Armaan is not his dushman and if there are MUs , he can sit down and discuss it with Armaan. She herself knows that gussa aata hai toh one cant be have a proper discussion or introspection. So to actually think about things, one needs something to remind you why this person matters to you, and whats at stake if you lose the person for good and if thats something one is willing to lose.
Abhira understood Armaans pov and forgave him, moved on when she felt fear of losing him and decided that he's too important for her to not give him a chance. She also calmed down significantly especially by the time her moms death anniversary happened and heard him out. Even after that she has fears and doubts but the fear of losing him forever is most important.
Armaan understood Abhiras pov and what all he did in anger only when he felt the fear of losing Abhira for good. Even divorce didn't make him feel like everything was over but his remarriage gave him that khauf. And then one moment of Abhira emotionally expressing her true feelings changed his pov fully.
Similarly Rohit also needs a push to remind himself why Armaan matters so much. They are brothers, best friends and very close. And what he stands to lose if he loses Armaan is something that can make him ultimately forgive Armaan.
For a change the kabbadi game plot despite being seemingly childish or filler actually makes sense and is a really nice way to also reduce the toxicity quotient of the show when sautela, paraya talk etc etc was happening.
The kabbadi stuff minus Ruhis rubbish is actually a fun entertaining plot to watch but it also moves the story forward.
