I do not see Abhira having any say in whether Armaan wants to leave the house or not. If they are married and she is unable to bear with the torture in the house, then woh aawaz uthaye, that makes some sense. As of now, she is an outsider for the family, Armaan wants to hang on to the house like a bat, any self respecting FL of Indian TV is not going to be one cutting the cord for the ML.

Sorry to bring real life here, but from my observations of how people behave at their end of life, some taking grievances to their grave and others repenting and grieving the loss of their relationships over years because of so called "self-respect", I have reconciled to this. Mujhe koi bhi self respect important nahin hain when it comes to saving/maintaining an important relationship. Let us say, my daughter calls me names or does something real nasty multiple times to hurt me, I might feel annoyed, sad and mad, but that doesn't make me ask her to get out or me taking myself out of her life. In fact, I would be the one knocking on her door if I perceive any threat to her. Another real instance, my uncle and family started behaving very funny with us for not so clear reasons. Both sides have almost cut ties with each other, but I couldn't live with myself losing a close relationship. I still keep calling on them when in town and making my small talk with them. They don't talk to me whole heartedly, but that doesn't deter me. I want my peace of mind and this is what I can live with at the moment with my close relationships. That doesn't mean I will take crap from every Tom, Dick and Harry

Armaan is grieving his loss of relationship with his brother and daadi. If we look at it objectively, he still has tight bonds with his parents, his chaacha, chaachi, his cousins, so to avoid nonsense from these two, should he leave the house? I can go both ways with this argument. If being called sautela, paraya gets to me and makes me hopping mad, I would leave in a jiffy. But losing all of my relationships is something I can't live with, and I am somewhat used to the taunts and will bear with it, I would do what Armaan is doing. I know he is in between the rock and a hard place, ultimately it is up to him to decide which evil he wants to take. It is very clear he is not ready to lose his relationship with either at this time, so he made his choice, however difficult it might be for him
Profession is different though. Kaveri hasn't formally asked him to get out. He is in a hard place now. If he gets out now, he looks like a sore person who is not happy for his brother. If he doesn't he will fester with his own resentment. This only happens to be Day # 1, give him sometime, may be if he is sitting twiddling his thumbs and observe how everything plays out, he might take up another place of work. The worth of an institution is as good as people who work there, Poddar firm is a small private firm, iss ke future toh very soon will be settled by how they are doing with their cases and clients
In this whole sequence, Abhira has no place, she will look like an insensitive fool if she gave any suggestion to him, which would go against what he can live with or which puts his peace of mind at stake
The best she can do is to support him and help him if possible, which is what she is doing. As a FL, of course she will go overboard with the help
