They aren't newcomers, but they are certainly NEWER than Ranbir. Ranbir has been here for 17 years......and Vicky 9 years - and his first movie nobody even knew who he was, he gained popularity and recognition from Raazi mostly.

Kartik was around since 2010 but he was hardly recognized. His actual career took off in 2018.

Not saying that they are better or worse, just saying, Ranbir is more senior.

You are saying almost a decade is not good enough??? Go and check what superstars like SRK,Salman and Hritik did in their first decade.......

That was a different era, different generation, different audience...I am just speaking to their years.

Ranbir himself does not have the stability that both SRK/Salman enjoyed. Even during their flops, they sustained. Ranbir delivers one flop and people dethrone him. Same with Ranveer, after drooling over him, people have decided to dump him all of a sudden.

We saw this just last year with Ranbir too, everyone hated him in TJMM and with Animal they jumped back onto the bandwagon. I was one of those people. Its not my fault if some of us find toxic masculinity hot.

Top nootch acting....amazing....no one else comes even close from this generation....

How were his anger scenes different in Rockstar and Animal? What different mannerisms did he bring to the characters? I still don't think I have seen Ranbir adequately cry. You want to see two emotionally intense scenes with two completely different characters onscreen? Completely different dialogue delivery, different mannerisms, different personalities?

You can not deny the sentiment that MANY have felt he is overrated for a while now. Before Vicky even became relevant. Many have complained he plays the exact same character the exact same way. Offers no range or versatility in his acting.

I will never understand that thinking. Although I feel there are many better then Ranbir. Randeep Hooda, Vijay Verma etc. But Vicky?
