You can raise this issue also bit it's reality in some homes where educated literate or illiterate people use violence against special children in the city or villages in India as they think reputation of home harm because of them...

So agar wo dikhata hai to ye hai in some moderate rate now than in past case...

I just wished the standards were better, more realistic is what I meant, because i think it has influence on our minds. and i wish they used this to leave a positive influence instead. Well in India movies are banned for stupid reasons left and right. I think my point is to not ban but I guess raise a concern. I know this industry is not going to change. I heard an audio talk someone posted on X where I think her daughter is asking questions about Jhanak and that made me think about this. She was asking questions about Jhanak and her life and why she is going through this and that... and that made me think if someone young watches this show I guess they will have similar questions. When I was growing up I learned things from TV as well, so its influence is something we can't ignore. For example, Dhoom style robberies after that movie was released. Anyway like you said it is a whole different topic and people can have widely different opinions. But I think we all agree that there are things in this show that are just not the right thing to show. I think two that stand out to me are, the treatment of a special child and the whole marriage concept that they are showing...

That is definitely a good thing...

The child asking why is she like this or her life this..

In that as a mom , she can tell her child this is not how life should be , you should raise your voice and take stand . A girl should know she should take decisions for her...
