I loved seeing Armaan laugh ..it was so good to see that after the crying binge …and the brief moment they had could have been so much better ..but at least they had a moment ..got to be thankful for small mercies I guess …why the knife though …what was the point ..Abhira wanted to scare him out of his misery ??

I agree that Rohit and Ruhi have potential ..on paper …but the writing of the scene was poor and Romit was still okay okay but Garvita was completely out of depth in the scene …a story like that requires very good actors ..so best they just gloss over it and whitewash Ruhi if that’s where they’re headed …exploring the dynamics between the couple is not something the writers are capable of nor the actors it would seem !

P.S - the actor playing Madhav is so poor …please don’t focus on him …and Abhira’s lines should’ve been “why couldn’t you open your goddamn mouth for your own flesh and blood when you threw all those tantrums for my sake ?”

And there elders were respectful too, not defaming the girls parents or family or taunting her of being middle class or not allowing females in their family to have career.

I remember they were also lawyers and their chacha was like manoj, nia encouraged chacha to fight the case by himself, whole family was against it and he failed in 1st hearing and blamed her and asked her to leave but then he got courage and won that case.

She also didn't liked how strict they are and follow rules for everything and made fun of that too. She made fun of dadaji too who was strict head of the family. She also had tiff with bua.

Abhira's actions always remind me of her only. The only difference is there dadaji or better say the head of the family loved his family genuinely and here dadisa only listens to her ego.

Rohit ka mujhe samaj nahi aaya, armaan was genuinely sorry & did everything for his forgiveness with whole heart & is crying for acceptance but rohit is not in a mood to forgive him but in case of ruhi, though he called her out, that thappad was needed for him to remember the past else he was smiling after watching ruhi haq se demanding him to have medicine.

I guess what rohit has for armaan is not just feeling of betrayal, it's jealousy, they might patch up for now but deep down his jealousy will play a role in kicking out armaan from poddar house.

Those days were different.. I initially found Diya bati to be regressive..

but it was one of the most progressive shows in starplus .. All the Bahus in the show were multitaskers .. each had some kind of job and also managing the house One was police , the second was working with her husband in sari shop the third one was hairstylist.. And still family drama was shown in making cooking and bla bla . But the message was everyone needs to work not sit in the house and do gossip.
