Right now it seems like the story is going the way of disregarding Anirudh in J's rise.

They are showing her as starting organically from caretaker and not on the basis of the ads Ani got for her. J always said if it was in her kismet, she would succeed in her career, she did not need to do anything to make it happen. It seems like makers want to show that she got her success by herself.

Ani's role primarily has been to save her from Tejas and she had beizathi as a price to pay for his protection. Because of destiny, even though Ani has tried his best to marry Arshi, he will be unable to.

Let's now see if destiny will allow J to follow her own path and leave Ani behind.

This "great" love story now is about how they will be together in spite of themselves...not so far very inspiring, with the divine intervention angle.
