No. A couple of make up artists, Saree draping help is a must and should these days at even the commoner weddings. Because the wedding has 3 different stages- pre wedding rituals, pheras and post wedding rituals. where it’s must and should for the bride,groom and the immediate family to change into different dresses. Guests don’t change but close relatives do.

Haan, 2 outfits toh common hi hain. Humari side it's usually one outfit for stage/baraat/jaimaal, then another for the main pheras(coz bride has to wear something yellow). Then, it's usually upto the bride if she wants another outfit for the bidai.

Usually guests who wait and attend pheras do an outfit change too.

We wear one for the pre rituals, white Saree with red border for the actual muhurat , then into another Saree of our choice until the bidai and change back to the muhurat wali white Saree which would’ve become yellow during the rituals with all the turmeric and kumkum. Both the bride and the groom. Parents have to change, because they participate in the rituals too. Siblings and the other relatives guests etc change because they have nothing better to do..j/k…siblings and cousins usually be working their behinds off…😅

Phere ke time mein toh usually relatives who are attending it also change coz itne lambe chalte hain humare yaha, kon itni heavy saris/lehengas etc pehen ke baithe. Plus like you said, there's tons of stuff to do behind the scenes toh thoda light outfit daal lete hain.

Last year I attended my cousin's wedding and had to switch 4 outfits, pehle usko Ghar se parlor bhejne wali vidai ke liye, then one for his baraat in the evening, then another for the main pheras, then finally one to welcome his bride after bidai

Seriously, what was going on in this wedding? You have this concert going on with the barat, anant looks completely lost and no one is even focusing much on the actual wedding ceremony or the bride and groom, it's all about the stars and what they are wearing and what they are doing, what a way to completely overshadow the bride and groom and their big day with all of this dance, song and glitz/glamour, all thanks to nita ambani

I think Vicky brought his spouse as he was getting criticism partying alone which he enjoys as she don’t dance or socialize much at parties n he enjoys his cultural songs and gets into as can be seen when he grooved with Shenaaz

Anant at times look tired and a bit irritated. He would had preferred simple wedding.
